The Painted Pot

My husband and I would go here for each others birthdays or fun little dates with each other all the time. All the time before have been amazing until now. This last time we went was for my birthday and our God-​daughter, who was 5 at the time came with. We each picked out something to paint. My husband– a gift for me
Myself– a pet bowl for our dog
And the little one– a shark bowl for her mom for a gift.
So we are all just about finished painting when (I pray isn’t the owner, for the way she treated us) one of the employees came by and looked at our pottery.
She then pointed out that the shark bowl was a set and that we have to buy the set which was $ 50!
This was a very small bowl but we asked if we could pay half since we are almost finished and there wasn’t any indication that they were a set. She rudely said no and that when she checked yesterday the sets were all together.
I asked well isn’t it possible that between yesterday and today someone moved them? She said no
I said well it wasn’t by the set and we would rather just buy the shark-​mind you there’s other customers painting as well and she isn’t going about this politely
Then she actually takes the shark bowl from my god daughters hands!
And goes to the sink to wash it off!
I was shocked!
Little one was so upset and kept asking if she was washing it and it was awful
What grown woman does that to a child?!
I will never support/​recommend this company to anyone and will always urge others to try a different business

This place is great. I took my 3-​year-​old and we both had a blast. Tons of projects to choose from and super helpful staff. Also fun events almost every week.

Best place every! My friend KT and I went there last Christmas to make gifts for family members. We had so much fun, we went back in February to make something for ourselves. I’m an artist and currently going to school for art, so this was especially fun for me. The workers are very knowledgeable and helpful. What a treat! I highly recommend this for dates, friends, family time.

LOOOOOOOOVE this place!!! They don’t just offer pottery– they offer mosaics & glass fusing as well. And, last time I was in they were talking about offering painting classes as well. I’ve been to a couple margarita nights & had a blast. What’s margarita night? Let me tell you. It’s a girls night out full if crafting– for $ 10 they supply the margaritas & the snacks. Not interested in margaritas? You can also byob– & that’s anytime. Not just margarita night. They also offer classes for both adults & children several times a month or you can stop in any time & get your craft on. The staff is amazing & so so friendly. I’m no artist, but they make everything super easy & it’s so laid back. Definitely recommend checking them out.

My love for painting pottery really started back in 2011 and ever since a group of friends and I have been trying to go all over.
I think we found a favorite spot!
Groupon had a deal for the Painted Pot and the 3 of us jumped on the chance to get together to paint. Not knowing what to expect, and having been to other places, we were amazed to see the awesome collection that this store offered.
You can do painting, mosaics, you name it, this place offers it all.
They have ample colors, ample space to work and lots of ideas swarming the walls that you’re sure to figure out what you want to do. They have a cricut
The prices are very reasonable for the pieces they have to offer and there is no sitting fee.
