Spee Dee Delivery Service

Do not recommend using this delivery service. They refuse to deliver my package because there is road construction on my street. It is still passable and there is no reason they cannot deliver. FedEx and UPS have been able to deliver to houses even further down the street closer to the actual construction. Contacted customer service and they said they would try to deliver again after a failed «attempt», which didn’t happen. They proceeded to ask me for an alternate address to deliver to but wouldn’t change it unless they heard from the sender first. Beyond frustrated and will never use this company again.

I had one package delivered just before thanksgiving to the building next to us uh wrong address luckily there was an honest person who brought it to us when I called speedee customer service I was hung up on, my other two packages came yeaterday one was open both packages had blood on them I have never been so discusted gross Do yourself a favor use the post office or fedex this company is worthless poor customer service and track your package two of my packages were in transit in the town where we live then went. Back to saint cloud poor service why no one could explain this to us.

This company was speeding through our quiet residential area with a huge bread truck /​laundry truck. When I attempted to let him pass, he pulled right behind me and started tailing me for more then 2 blocks before he zipped past me and made a turn. Today is 10/​20/​2015 and the idiotic driver was in truck number 1614 with plate number: 101 717.
We have a business in the area and I’ve also lived in this area for quite some time. We will NEVER use a service like this, if this is the type of employees you hire. He didn’t even seem concerned that he was in a company vehicle with the web site posted on the side.
I don’t want to waste my lunch researching the company, taking pictures of vehicles and leaving bad reviews… but this guy is reckless. Your drivers are a reflection of your company.

2 stars since it’s described as «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» In 2015, how do you operate a delivery service without accurate and real time tracking? I do not understand why «out for delivery» actually means that they are picking up from the shipper. Then the day I’m actually expecting to see it being out for delivery, it’s not… until I check back later and then it says it is out for delivery since earlier that morning (despite earlier that morning the status saying otherwise). GREAT customer service though when I had to manually check status. Quick responses. Delivery person delivered without anything missing or being broken. They just need to fix that tracking system that they use. It’s ridiculous.

We had a meat order shipped to us…
I called to get a time frame for delivery… was told 1pm, then I was told that someone needed to help the driver because it was 70#‘s too heavy for him… OMG that is what they make two wheel carts for.
Then was told if there was no help he would leave it at the apartment office, this is meat, it could sit in the office until tomorrow when my husband could get it… then I was ask if the manager could help him, REALLY!, I said «No this is not their order of job to help…»
The guy was not here at 1:10pm so my husband had to go to work, about 10mn later he shows up, I watched him get the box out of the truck with no problem and he carried it up the outside steps with no problem but he set it in the entry and walked to our apartment, told me he wasn’t going to bring it up, that I was told he needed help…
I admit I got pissed, I told him he was lazy and needed to do his job… he just left and I followed him, I told him I would not sign for it because it was not delivered to me. so he picked it up, with no problem again and was going to put it back on the truck…
I yelled and him to put it down and I would sign for it, (this dumb ass was going to put it back on the truck… MEATS, that needed to be gotten in the freezer)…I signed and he didn’t like how I signed so he said…“No sign it so I can read it…” I put my first name and told him to leave… and again I said he was lazy.
My husband had to come home from work to get it up to our apartment, and he lifted the box with no problem at all.
So I called to get a refund on the delivery charge and was told that the company I ordered from has to make a call to them, OMG they run a business and don’t have tme to sit on hold for 15+ min, but the guy said «if they can’t make the call then there is nothing I can do…»
Shitty customer service, lazy delivery driver.

I recently got poor customer service again, a trend that is becoming more prevalent today.
I bought a DVD/​VCR Player and it was to be delivered by a company called Speed Dee Delivery.
The tracking info was confusing. First it said the shipment went from Rockford to Milwaukee and then back to Rockford, which is illogical.
I emailed them and asked what the projected delivery date was. I got an email back from Heidi that asked what the tracking number was. I called but was put on hold for over ten minutes, so I hung up.
I emailed back the tracking number and later in the day I got an email asking for the delivery address.
Now, she had my name and the tracking number. That is more than sufficient to look up all the pertinent information on this shipment. But, because she is lazy and apathetic and did not want to do her job, she chose to throw the ball back in my court and make me do additional work. It was simply a stall so she didn’t have to do any work.
If she had done her job, the package would have been delivered on Monday as I was home for the day, but the doorbell does not work. Had I been given an estimated delivery date, I would have posted a sign for the driver to knock on an adjacent window.
On Monday, he left a sign on my door that he would return the next day. The next morning, I posted the sign on the door, and later that day, he knocked on the window and I received the package.
In summation, their driver had to make 2 attempts to deliver this instead of 1 and I had to wait an additional day for the delivery. The point is: two people had to do additional work and expend additional energy because of the laziness and apathy of one person. They suck! Don’t use them!

Ordered a package on the 5^th through Etsy, it was delivered on the 10^th through Spee-​Dee Delivery and they made two attempts to delivery it to my business at 4pm which we were unfortunately closed but Spee-​Dee did not leave a missed delivery note or any indication they attempted to make a drop off and the package was shipped back to the seller.
When I called Spee-​Dee for further details I was on hold for twenty minutes before I was able to get to a representative, when I gave her my tracking number she informed me there were three attempts, although on my record I only have two attempts to delivery, when I inquired about the third attempt she only said what date it was on and said that a delivery time was not updated to that date. She said the delivery dates are updated in real time, but I had called on the 20^th, and her last record showed the 17^th, while my records off the same Spee-​Dee website indicated that the last attempt was on the 13^th and it was immediately return shipped back to the seller after that.
The representative said she could not refund the delivery fee or the $ 18 fee I was being charged by the Etsy seller for having to have it shipped back, even though the delivery driver did not leave any indication he was there.
Rated two stars, if you’re going to be home the entire day and not move from your window Spee-​Dee might be for you.
