History
Established in 1999.
Owner, Robert Smith, is an Automotive Master Mechanic of over 35 yrs experience.
Robert started his career in the Marine Corps after graduating Highschool in 1977. Robert, an Eagle Scout of Troop 21 in Centereach 1976, graduated the USMC Automotive Training 2nd in his class of 60, and continued as a Military Motor Transport Mechanic up until 1983 when he left the military (as a Sgt-E-5) to persue His career as a civilian Auto Repair shop owner. In 1992 Robert and his brother Jason opened Smith Brothers Automotive, in Ronkonkoma (still in operation). Looking to open a repair shop as sole owner, Smitty’s Garage began it’s operation in 1999
