History

Established in 2006.

Botanicals Design Studio opened in July of 2006 by long time Botanicals on the Park designers, Keith McDonnell and Dean Riebeling. Assembling a team of top creative designers, BDS burst onto the scene with immediate success due to their well-​established reputation, innovative design and incredible, personal service. BDS serves a loyal and distinguished clientele including The Ritz Carlton, The Director of The Missouri Botanical Garden and The Missouri Historical Society, who regularly rely on BDS to surpass the high standards of style and service expected by their clients. BDS remains at the forefront of original floral design. Meet the Business Owner

Keith and Dean M.

Business Owner

Dean and Keith have been creating unique floral arrangements under the Botanicals name for over 25 years. After working together for almost 18 years at the famed Botanicals on the Park, they started their own company, Botanicals Design Studio, in the Summer of 2006. An artist at heart, Keith graduated from University of Missouri-​St. Louis in 1989, degreed in business management and marketing. He received his formal experience in the floral industry during his time at Botanicals on the Park, advancing their floral business by creating thousands of beautifully unique weddings and events. Dean has been designing fresh flowers since age fifteen. He attended the world-​renowned Hixson Floral Design School, where he completed his Masters course in 1982. He has worked in fine St Louis shops during his 39-​year career. Dean is truly a gifted designer and a limitless resource of creative ideas.
