Brinkman & Alter, LLC was founded in 2010 by St. Louis bankruptcy lawyers, C Scott Brinkman and Jennifer P. Alter. Scott and Jennifer have over 15 years of legal experience working for large firms in St. Louis and bring their knowledge and expertise of St. Louis bankruptcy to their practice.

Business Owner

Jennifer P. Alter has been a St. Louis bankruptcy attorney since 2006. Her primary focus is St. Louis bankruptcy, but she also practices in several other areas, including St. Louis traffic and speeding tickets, and debt settlement. She has worked at a large bankruptcy law firm where she handled complex matters and developed an expertise in Chapter 7 and 13 cases. She has also worked for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee, which has given her a unique insight that is extremely beneficial to clients.

C Scott Brinkman has been providing St. Louis bankruptcy services for many years. He specializes in stopping St. Louis wage garnishments, bank levies, lawsuits filed by creditors, and making sure collection agencies follow the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Scott worked for a Chapter 7 Trustee for four years before starting Brinkman & Alter. In addition to St. Louis bankruptcy, Scott handles St. Louis speeding tickets, traffic tickets, and St. Louis criminal defense.
