Bronze Tan

This tanning salon is the best place to tan in the STL area. Every one that works there, especially the owner, is super friendly!!! They have so many different levels of beds and great music during the session. It is also very easy to access and free parking in the back!

There was a slight mix up at the beginning of my services but the staff was great. Nina did my custom spray tan and she did a great job. I’ll be back for my future spray tanning needs!

Updating my review because I’ve been coming back for tan sessions and really find that my earlier review was based more off one employee. My return visits have been met with friendly and helpful folks. The owner is quite friendly too and remembers my name. We often chat and catch up which is really nice to do. I did tan at another place and didn’t like it nearly as much so I’m glad to be back at Bronze Tan.

Once I got in the room, the machine was explained to me very well and the actual process was very quick. Tan looks
pretty good for a spray booth. Note: it’s organic! And also-​there is FREE Garage Parking in the back. I will come back– and they have some good package deals as well. Good experience overall-​after the initial hiccup.

New to St. Louis. Tried this place because of a groupon. This was my first time spray tanning and I was extremely nervous. One of their employees «Ashleigh» took the extra time to explain the entire process to me. She made me feel super comfortable with the experience. She was also able to look at my skin shade and recommend what color spray to choose. The facility was very clean and organized. A place with this kind of customer attention deserves 4 stars! I will definitely be going back!

I had a great experience at Bronze Tan. I have never been to a tanning salon before but decided to try the automatic spray tan after seeing their Groupon online. The online booking makes it so easy to book an appointment – I actually had to call and push mine back at the last minute, but the employee on the phone (Amber) was really nice about it and helpful. Everyone was so friendly and took the time to show me around and explain the tanning process to me, which I was really impressed with. Everything looked really well-​maintained and clean. I love my tan and will definitely be back.

I have tried almost all tanning places in the area, including the major chains. This place is superior on all levels. The staff is friendly and helpful, yet never a pushy salesmen you tend to find at other salons. What gets me always coming back though, are their top notch beds at the best prices around. I’ve been going here for about 2 years and have moved, but I drive the extra to come here. You will not be disappointed.

I haven’t been in a few months, but I’ve spent probably $ 200 with Bronze Tan. I’ve used a couple of tanning places elsewhere, and the friendliness and customer service have been exceptional.
Better yet, the prices are fair, the beds are very modern, the place is cleaned and maintained very well, and there is *very* rarely a wait for beds. I know that if I had 15 minutes from the time I parked and wanted to tan for 12, I could almost certainly make it if I hustle. Even the check-​in and accounting system is speedy. The staff are friendly, surprisingly smart for tanning salon employees :), and not surprisingly, attractive. I rarely find a weak, much less dead, bulb.
There *have* been a couple of occasions where a male employee (the owner I was told?) made me wait for 5 – 10 minutes while he finished introducing the place and its prices to a prospective customer. That is my only work-​on for them: I just want to get in and get out, and all I need is for you to look up my last name and give me a room number. This transaction would last 15 seconds and you could talk to the new customer as long as you like without losing an existing customer.
An employee did tell me that the owner does care very much about BT’s perception, and that he/​she freaks at even 4-​star reviews. I like that. So despite this fixable issue, I give this a 5. It is a top-​notch tanning experience, particularly in light of my past experience with tanning salons, which typically feature entitled staff, dead bulbs, dirty beds, and long waits in overlit lobbies. I would only recommend Bronze Tan in STL.

I haven’t been to a lot of salons but this is my favorite out of maybe 6 or 8 I’ve graced with my pale presence. I am time poor so I go for that mega/​ultra beds, they have a couple of the really high-​end ones. I think two or so is pretty typical. What I like is you can buy sessions as opposed to just time. So you can buy five sessions and use them whenever you want as opposed to getting a two week run or whatever. Plus I really like the two high-​end beds that I used and everything inside is superclean including the bathroom. The other places I’ve used in the area have been in Clayton and Brentwood and the prices here are much lower. And finally the staff is cool and helpful. It’s a tanning bed place so I’m not sure what else to say. Check it out of you need some color.

I have always bought mystic tans but I decided to give the spray tan a try at Bronze Tan! I was so impressed by it and now that’s the only way I get a spray! The facility is very very clean! Service is professional and they make you feel extremely comfortable! I highly recommend going here for your next appointment. I get the Venetian color and love it!

I love Bronze Tan! I checked it out because of the amazing reviews and booked an appointment. I LOVE the online booking feature that lets you pick a day, a time, and the person who will be helping you! Really, really great for people like me who don’t particularly care for making appointments over the phone. I had a Custom Airbrush Tan with Vanessa, who is super sweet and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. The tan itself is awesome: the color is great, and it lasts!
I love this place and I can’t wait to go back!

I have been to my fair share of tanning salons and this one ranks at the top. It was clean and the beds are some of the best in class. The girl that helped me was super nice and very very knowledgable!

The first two reasons I like this place are; location and the staff. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I’ve also had good experiences in both the beds and with the spray tanning. Overall, it’s clean, convenient, has occasional good specials and quality products.

Super friendly staff and clean beds. I don’t tan very often (a couple weeks during the sunless winters) and it was nice finding a place I feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back!

I don’t usually tan but I wanted that perfect glow for my wedding day. I visited bronze tan for their personalized spray tans. Vanessa was my artist and she made me feel so comfortable and made sure I knew how to maintain my color. I recommend going in for a practice round because they have a lot of different options to work with any type of skin tone. I got so many compliments on my skin and it lasted on my honeymoon too! I had my mom and three sisters go as well and they all loved it!

Hands down THE BEST tanning salon in St. Louis. I’ve been to several places around St. Louis and have never been satisfied with the beds, customer service, prices or salon itself. At Bronze Tan the staff are extremely friendly and seem genuinely glad you’re there. The manager or owner (basically the only guy in the place) is quite possibly the friendliest person I’ve met and even remembers your name when you come in. I was given an extensive tour of the salon, run down of the packages & prices in detail on my first visit. If you opt for the 3 month commitment you can tan for only $ 20 a month!
While they have several options of UV & UV Free tanning, I’ve only used Level 1 beds. I saw great results in a week and by the time my month package was up I looked like I had just spent a month on a beach.
The beds are high end and the salon is always clean. I would usually go in the evenings after 6PM or 7PM and can always find a spot on the street or in the free parking lot behind the building. I can’t say enough good things about this tanning salon.

So I have been on the look out for a good tanning salon. I went to Beach House Bronze in the Brentwood area and was not impressed. I wanted to tan sunday and they did not open until noon so I went on Unilocal and found Bronze Tan.
This place is my absolute favorite salon so far! Its cheery and clean and bright inside. The beds are hig-​end and not janky. They have actual working buttons and the bulbs dont flicker. The rooms are really nice and they provide a full length mirror. I did a level 2 and immediately saw a difference. The girl at the front was also very friendly and did not sound like a salesman and push a membership down your throat. She actually knew what she was talking about when I asked her questions about the beds
The prices are also very reasonable. I did not get a package or membership deal. I spent $ 10 on a single session. A level 1 is $ 7.
This place is soooooooooo much better than Beach House Bronze.

Thrilled with this tanning salon. I was so worried that when I moved back to St. Louis I wouldn’t be able to find a good salon that isn’t outrageous in price. Hollywood Tan and all that jazz is great, if you want to pay out the ass every tan or every month.
If you buy a 3 month package, tanning is only $ 20 a month and the beds are really nice. There is never a wait and the staff is all super friendly. I’ve only been going for a week or two and they already know my name. That’s good customer service.
The only downside would be parking. The garage in the back is super tiny and I believe they share that garage with the restaurants and tenets in the building as well. Totally not their fault, but if there was any negative that would be it.

This is by far my favorite tanning salon in St. Louis. I went here after purchasing the Unilocal Deal a few months ago and have been going back ever since.
The location is perfect and parking is easy, with a private lot located just behind the building so I never have trouble finding a spot. The salon itself is always clean and super friendly. This is one of the few places I’ve been to where the staff makes an effort to learn your name and gives you a cheerful, personal welcome each time.
The beds are great and have given me no trouble in maintaining my ideal color. You can choose from their Level 1, 2, or 3 and they offer a wide variety of packages and reasonably priced single-​visits to suit everyone’s needs. With most of their packages, not only do you get unlimited monthly access to the bed but they’ll also throw in a discount on lotions and occasional upgrades. Plus they constantly seem to be having some kind of promotion going on, so I always feel like I’m getting a great deal.
As for lotions, the staff has been incredibly helpful every time I want to make a new purchase. They’re all very knowledgeable about each lotion type and brand and never try to force a sale. The lotions they stock are all top-​rated and mostly Designer Skin.
