Normally I get pizza from this chain but on one occasion I decided to do something different. Well on this occasion different was horrible. Philly cheesesteak: 0⁄51st off as a certified cheesesteak connoisseur rule # 1 if it has to have the city in the name it’s not OFFICAL. This was certified AZ trash. I can’t even call it a roast beef sandwich at worst it was beef, and it was horrible tasting and horribly overpriced. Meat game was chump and the bread well… it would have been better if they had got some from the dollar store. I wouldn’t even use this bread to make breadcrumbs.

I can now finally say that I’ve had bad pizza… I stopped in this place mostly because I like to support small/local businesses, they also happened to have a sign that offered a large pizza for $ 4.88, which I should’ve known was too good to be true. I went for this deal and realized that no toppings were included. The pizza was hot and prepared within a reasonable time from ordering, but the crusty was uncomfortably thin, the sauce tastes like it came from a can of something bought in a grocery store, and the cheese was low quality. Wouldn’t recommend. If you’re going for a local feel pizza with quality ingredients, look elsewhere.

This is my absolute favorite place to get pizza! Hands down the BEST pizza in STL. Their Tuesday and Thursday $ 3.99 special is everything. Their cheese fries, cheese bread is divine. I’m honest to God drooling. I’ve never had an issue with service but I almost always pick up my order. Cecil’s for life!

I LOVE pizza and have eaten plenty of pizza around the country. People complain about the major chain pizzas being bland or doughy or lack of toppings. I don’t know if Cecil Whittaker is St Louis style pizza or not. I truly can’t think about giving a 1 star review. It’s almost impossible to get a one star for pizza. We stayed at the Chase Park Plaza and the front desk recommended the pizza. We ordered the 12inch Deluxe, a Caesar salad and some pasta. The salad was ranch dressing, the pasta was cold and the pizza was horrible. Okay the pizza was not cut thru where I had to tear the pieces apart. The dough was well doughy. The pizza didn’t look at all appetizing at all. The cheese was well I don’t know. Someone suggested it was velvetta, which it might have been. The toppings looked undesirable as well. I didn’t eat but two pieces and got rid of the pizza which made me sad and mad! If you like bad pizza and want to throw $ 11 down the drain please send it to me… You at least won’t be mad when it’s delivered and I can re coup my lose!

This is hands down the worse pizza I’ve ever paid for. It reminds me of pizza from an elementary school cafeteria, minus the charm. The cheese was like velveeta. We didn’t even finish it and it’s very hard for me to throw out food like pizza. The wings were a solid 5⁄10 though. Which is the nicest thing I can say about here. I also unfriended the person who suggested this place to me. I think St. Louisans have some weird culinary preferences pertaining to pizza.

This is my favorite place for chicken wings. I have been doing business with them for years. The Cecil sandwich and Tortellini are also great.

Awesome service! We were stranded outside across the street waiting on a taxi for over an hour and these guys let us warm up in their store and hooked us up with some of St Louis’s finest toasted ravioli while we waited.

One of my favorite pizzerias in the area! Great deals and prices, super fast, and reliable quality. I get pizza here around once a week, and it’s always perfectly cooked and piping hot when I pick it up.

Ordered delivery online. Tipped in advance. I live in a safe apartment complex with plentiful elevators. Driver called and said he would be here«within ten minutes» and could I come down«if I got the chance.“I went down after 5 and chatted with the desk staff. After 10 minutes, I went upstairs. I am a disabled vet with severe back problems and can’t just idly stand around. Fifteen minutes later, the driver called again. I didn’t answer and just went down. Honestly felt bad for the guy. I’m 6’8″ and in pretty good shape, which can be intimidating. He kept apologizing, but my back was hurting, so I could only acknowledge his apology with a curt, «it’s okay.» I’ve worked in adult literacy. Some of my former clients might ask you to come downstairs because they can’t read names or the like on doors. So i try to be sensitive. As I ascended the elevator, I thought about calling and apologizing. But when I got to my apartment and opened the pizza box, I found the pizza absolutely torched. Black and disgusting. So I just threw it away.
