Trying to support the smaller stores, but $ 8.00 for a tub of caulk? Then I throw away my cash receipt on the way out of the store only to find a hardened, solid tub which had an expiration date of 11 – 2012. Checked prices on a few other things I needed, but also found higher prices, so no thanks.

The best hardware store around. Better than the big chains close to here. Always welcoming and willing to help with even the smallest of projects. I WILL come back here again and again

I have a confession. I love ACE Hardware stores. Like really, really love them. I love the diversity of products they sell. I love the small, hometown feel each store has. I love that there is always a «helpful hardware man» or woman to greet me as I walk in and assist as needed. This particular store has all that. I have seen some larger ACE Hardware’s with big selections of appliances and equipment rentals, which is why this store gets a 4 vs 5 rating since I don’t see that this location has that. However, I still love this spot. From getting a spare key made, to gardening supplies, to extra tire valve stem caps, to hot glue sticks, to wall hooks, to vice grips, to Halloween decorations, to duct tape — I’ve found what I needed. ACE is the place, as far as I’m concerned! I highly recommend you visit this helpful hardware spot — or the one nearest you.

It’s close to home, has a fair assortment of standard lawn related items and tools. Their lumber selection is smallish but it’s ok. I prefer shopping there over Lowes or Home Depot.

This turned out to be a place that I could find the widget that I needed that I could not at a big box store. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store was a bit chaotic as it looked like they were adding new stuff and taking old stuff down. I really like stores like this and am sad when the big boxes take over. I’ll be back!
