Finance manager Justin made feel like shit because i don’t have gold star credit. It didn’t help that it took 4 hours to say no. Greg in sales was a nice guy though. Sorry to have wasted his time.

No service! Had an «appt» for a diagnose on Thursday it’s now Sunday and they have not even started on the truck! I’m curious what the point of the appointment is? Another thing I wanted to mention about a year ago I had some parts serviced paid 499 for repairs and had to re do it all again myself with new parts, etc! This place is not reliable and I would not recommend to anyone! Last time I have car worked on in there and last time I purchase from Dave Sinclair! Worst part of this ordeal is im borrowing someone’s vehicle while mine sits in their shop for no reason! Also last Tuesday when I called and asked to bring it in the lady that answerered said «we can’t look at it for a couple days so I said when can u look at it lets make appt she makes appt for Thursday I go out of my way to bring it in and I’m probably gonna go pick it up tomorow AM which is now Monday and I wasted my time for no reason! Dave Sinclair went downhill really wish I could leave zero stars

The service really gone down hill. When John Sinclair was there the service was really good. No issues with anything and was able to get things fixed the right way. Now you can call to make an appointment with the service dept and be on hold for over 10 min the receptionist comes back to the phone and asks who you are holding for and then tells you the service dept closed at 7. Yep was on hold for the last 10 min and it just now is 7. I know it was close to cloaing time but still. Not thw first time this has happened. Guess i will be doing mg business elsewhere after having purchased my last 3 vehicles from here and having no issues now to multiple issues with getting service and now even making an appointment. Customer service is key and Dave Sinclair Ford has gone down hill. So sad to see this happen.

Great dealership. I have bought my last 8 or 9 cars from Dave Sinclair Ford, totally happy with the deals. Great service department! Wouldn’t take my Ford anywhere else.

So my daughter bought her first car from Dave Sinclair Ford. A used 2008 Mazda 6. She doesn’t make a lot of money but was proud to be able to afford a used car. Not only did she buy the car but purchased a 4 year warranty for $ 2400 as well. After a month, and about 300 miles, the car would not start. My daughter had it towed to the dealership and said it should be ready next week. When we inquired about a rental car, they said hold on and then told us they were going to quickly check the battery. Sure enough it was the battery and they said it was not covered under warranty. I figured as much. However, after one month, they should cover the cost of the battery. Their slogan is «If it’s not right, we’ll make it right for free». That’s BS. They said they would do it for ½ price. I said no, A multi-​million dollar company can cover a battery that we had for a month. Dave Sinclair Jr (I believe) came out and I told him the same thing. They should be replacing the battery at no charge. He would not budge from 50%. I immediately pressed send on my negative review of the dealership on Facebook and that upset him so he said now he would not cover any of the battery. That’s fine, I bought the battery for my daughter and paid full price somewhere else (Dave Sinclair will not get anymore of my money), walked through the service department and installed it, drove the car off the lot and will never visit or buy from them again. While buying the new battery, I made sure everyone inside the Auto Part store heard my story. Their slogan should be «If it ain’t right, we might make it right for 50%».

90 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. Longer than one would expect when you have an appointment but I am good for another 5000 miles.

11/​25/​2014 07:30 AM I had scheduled a service apt. After 8:00AM I left with my truck because they could not provide a sufficient rental for me to drive. Very poor management of customer service and security. I haven’t even received a phone call from my salesman or serviceman, both nice guys but I had expected some kind of follow up by now. I do NOT plan to return even considering I had bought my past two vehicles here. They have lost my trust and business.

I’ve always been impressed with ford until arriving at Dave Sinclair Ford. I’ve now been twice. The first time I had an oil change and luckily checked my oil when I got home. The stick was dry. Took it back to ford and they apologized for the error. Gave one more chance and went back for a second time for an oil change. Set up an appointment and upon arrival walked straight to the counter. Three ladies were sitting there. One said hi and continued her work while the other two were chatting. After several minutes of waiting, a random employee noticed and came over and stepped in to help. It’s sad feeling as if you’re ‘in the way’. I will not go back.

I had a good shopping experience in 10. What I’m here to crow about is the service department. I drive from the airport because I trust and appreciate this service department. They are prompt and thorough. They bailed me out of a «just out of warranty» crisis and when I sent a modest check to their charity, I received a hand-​written thank you note from the family. They appreciate that our time is precious, too. I overheard the receptionist trying to book an appointment, she asked the phone client «What time is your dental appointment?». Working with us and not holding us hostage. The way a dealership/​service department should be.

We entered on a nice Saturday afternoon. They were swamped. It was understandable. I wanted to test drive one of the 2013 Focuses. We waited around for about 20 mins (even had receptionist overhead page for an available salesman.) Then we decided to leave and go to the Hyundai dealership down the way. Afterward, we came back and the receptionist got a salesman for us.
The guy was older, but I had a guy to help me, so I was cool with whoever. I told him exactly what I wanted to test drive because I’d done my homework and I had been obsessing over the Focus for a week.
We walked back to the cars, found one and he had to move two cars out of the way. Afterward, my husband got on the back (behind the driver) and I got in the passenger seat — because the salesmen have to bring it out of the ‘back lot’
Fine — no problem.
Before he gets in though — he starts to explain — point by point — every freaking feature: Antilock brakes, power locks, etc.
I interrupt him and tell him I understand all that, I just want to drive it and see if I like it (and if my husband likes it — he drives my car sometimes.)
No problem — he drives us to the front where he needs my drivers license and insurance card. I hand them to him.
As he gets out, my husband — who wants to move up to the passenger seat — is locked in (child safe locks.) He tells the guy he’s locked in and needs out. As the guy is explaining how power mirrors work (before going and making a copy of my stuff,) my husband interrupts this time and informs him that we know how to work a freaking power mirror (I’m paraphrasing.)
Then, my husband informs me that he is *not* test driving with this guy. So he goes and explains that and gets another salesman.
This guy is better, but not much, and he had food in his teeth.
We wanted to feel how ‘zippy’ the car was, but that wasn’t gonna happen — the guy was like 6’5″ and not thin. No — we certainly weren’t going to see how quick the car was, not after that.
After we came back, we dropped the car back (which I drove all the way to the back and parked it where we got it — go figure), we went to the bathroom and quickly moved for the door.
On the way out, I saw a younger salesman with a couple and he was using his iPad to show them options and features.
I was pissed.
Worst service ever, and we went to 5 dealers that day.
Don’t go on a nice day, and be specific with what kind of dealer/​salesman you are looking for.
