There are a billion places to get your clothes altered in St. Louis. This is the first one I’ve used where the work is both top notch and where they’re upfront about pricing. Most of the work I’ve had done is simple: pant lengths altered here and waistbands taken in.(All you high waist-to-hip ratio ladies listen up: The $ 30 it costs to get your pants fixed is so friggin worth it not to have to cinch that ish in with a belt everyday or yanking your pants back up constantly!) She once took a lined pencil skirt down two sizes which involved a lot of work and came out beautifully. Another time, I stopped to pick something up and asked how much it would be to make some adjustments to the blazer I was wearing. The next thing I knew, she was pinning it and I left it behind. It was well worth it though because it looked so much better after. The are cash-only(as are most businesses in this field). There is metered parking on the street which can be limited depending on the time of day. I’ve always been in and out fast enough that I don’t feed the meter. There’s a small lot behind this building but it says it’s for several other businesses along this strip but not this one. It’s a tight squeeze to get in and out of so I wouldn’t necessarily suggest parking there.
