First Community Credit Union

Pretty nice credit union, have a couple accounts with them and they are pretty helpful.
They also have popcorn in little baggies everywhere, although that may be a good thing for others it makes me want to eat it and that’s not a good thing. It also makes me instantly hungry and that’s not good either.
But the people are great and the ATM is easy to use.
They also have an app for my iPhone so I can access my balance and do other account related things without having to jump on a PC or go into the branch.
And at the end of the day that’s what its all about not having to see my face and be lazy all at the same time. :)

BEST place I’ve ever banked. After 2 years with FCCU, I’ve never had a single problem with my account. Staff is always fast and super friendly. Seriously, if you’re sick of the stress that comes with BoA or US Bank (both places I’ve banked) I would absolutely recommend this place!

Really nice, big, location of FCCU. I’ve used the check deposit at their ATM here a few times during after hours. It can be kind of picky sometimes though which according to the guy who helped us today (Assistant Manager) it’s just like that… I think they should just upgrade their systems or something.
Anyway I highly recommend their first rate checking account as it pays pretty sweeeet interest (1.5%, I think?) which is good for a checking acct!
My BF and I both have our own personal First Rate accounts here and today we went in to open up a joint checking account (type II) which also has decent rate (0.25APY) but you have to keep at least $ 750 in it at all times or else you pay a $ 5 fee once per month if it drops below. But you can switch at any time with no penalty which is nice if you want to try out a different option.
They were crowded yet efficient so we moved through pretty fast. Ryan helped us and he did a great job in answering our questions and being efficient with paperwork.
I’d recommend them.
