History
Established in 2010.
Forget-me-not was built in 1894 and is a wonderful example of a Queen Anne Victorian. This stately home, a «mini-mansion» has many of the beautiful details of larger homes: outstanding ceiling medallions, stained glass, wood work, cupola, artistic tiles, and much more. The current owners, Magretta and Chuck Yokota didn’t intend to open a B & B when they bought the home. But friends kept urging them to do so because the house was so special and they were such good hosts. Taking this to heart, they opened for business in the Spring of 2010 and they are enjoying the new people they are meeting.

Magretta and Chuck Y.
Business Owner
After a full year of being inn keepers, Chuck and Magretta knew that made a good decision to open their home to others as a Bed and Breakfast. The beautiful Queen Anne Victorian had called to Magretta each morning as she drove to her non-profit job, and Chuck the engineer, agreed that it was a pretty house, but saw all the work that could be involved. When the house came on the market they were able to go inside, and found a house with wonderful bones that would require some work, but wasn’t a total disaster. They never planned to open a B&B, but friends kept urging them to do so. Entertaining and having company was the easy part, but for Magretta especially getting up early to make breakfast was a challenge. But the benefits have far outweighed the challenges. It is great fun to meet people from all over the world, to make new friends, and to try out new recipes. We hope to be doing this for a long time, and continue to improve our home, and skills.
