Pretty decent bar, the food ranges from average to above average pub fare, for a decent price. The beer selection is great and the wait staff is very friendly. A great local bar to hit up, I would much rather go here than Applebee’s or somewhere similar.

Came in for lunch and were sat right away! Wasn’t busy! Waitress was nice and very attentive! Drinks were refilled immediately. I ordered the chicken Philly with a side house salad! I would say I would maybe order this again. I prefer their Buffalo chicken sandwich over this one. My boyfriend had the Cheeseburger! Tasted great! Had we came around 4pm they do a 5 $ burger and fries special on Tuesday! Their soups are also delicious !

The food was great. Had a delicious salad. My mom had a huge burger that was tasty .also had a togo order. Sister had another kind of salad. portions are large. Waitress service not to good. Never was offered a refill on soda. Had to wait for silverware a couple minutes after receiving food. Good thing we didn’t order hot food. Still gave over 20 percent tip

I chose this restaurant because it was close to my hotel and had a good overall rating. I wish I would have read the reviews more closely before I went. The service was poor. I had to wait ten minutes at the hostess station for someone to notice I was there and seat me. Then it took another ten minutes for the hostess to come take my order. I had four different servers throughout the meal, so I have no idea who got the tip I left. They were so disorganized they brought my salad twice, then my check twice. The side salad was just a plate of iceberg lettuce with some mozzarella cheese and croutons. At least the grilled wings were good. Overall, I found the whole experience disappointing.

First trip to Frailey’s. The service was below average. It took quite awhile to take our order, or server rarely checked on us and was a bit crass. It felt like she had too many tables in her section and was a bit over-extended. The food was OK. The Turkey Melt was pretty tasty, the Black and Bleu Steak Wrap was below average, the fries were decent, and the beer was fairly priced. I was surprised by the crowd. My wife and I are in our mid 30s and we were the youngest people there aside from some kids and grandkids around the room. Overall, not too happy, but are willing to try it again.

I can’t rate the food so this is just on the service.. Or lack thereof. After a long day at work, my wife and I had to go to a wake and never had a chance to eat until after. Place was not busy at 8:00pm on a Monday so we figured we could get appetizers quickly and then a meal. Got seated quickly. Sat there for 15 minutes and no one came to take our order. That was a chance for them to have a new customer. Won’t be back.

Went into Frailey’s southtown today after not giving it a chance for a long time– and I think I remember why I gave up on them before. My friend and I were seated and weren’t even acknowledged for 15 min. I would understand if they were busy or understaffed– but 3 waiters stood around by the bar and were about 20 people in the restaurant. Ended up walking out– and I won’t be walking back in.

It was just ok. Me and my husband went in the other night based on fairly decent Unilocal reviews and close proximity to where we live but we were not impressed. Everything was fine, but for the same price you can get great food somewhere else.

I’ve been going to the bar at Fraileys Southtown for years This week, I ate in the dining area for the first time. A large group of us, with children, needed an area for a short meeting. Fraileys made a conference area available to the twelve of us and tolerated the rambunctious kids. Being in the room with doors and a bit of privacy allowed us to relax and not worry about cackling children interrupting other diners. Tuesday’s, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are kids eat free night. Tuesday was $ 5 burgers and fries. The burgers were well cooked and large. Three types of wings were offered and a sampler for all three. The trashed wings tasted overlooked to me but they were the first ones demolished by our group. Beer of the day, $ 1.50 was Busch beer and the type changes daily. We ordered onion rings and they were hot, tasty, and quick to the table. The server was patient, friendly, and quick to respond. The parking lot is large and well lit. Frailey’s is certainly a neighborhood bar and grill but worth a stop by if you’re in south county. Tina is the greatest bartender in St. Louis and has looked 25 years old for the last fifteen years.

Always friendly with darn good trash wings. Steaks are very good. There is no place that has a colder glass of draft beer on this planet. Eight tv’s

This is a review called«Allison’s Microphone,» and it’s about Allison and the Microphone. But Allison’s Microphone is not the name of the restaurant, which is located in South County, in a strip mall, with free parking spaces galore, which makes suburbanites like me smile. Somewhere down the way from Schnucks is Frailey’s Southtown, the place where you’ll find Allison and the Microphone. They are the main reasons we visited, so that’s why I call the review Allison’s Microphone. Cue the Arlo Guthrie music. Go. «You can sing any song you want on Allison’s microphone. You can sing any song you want on Allison’s microphone. Walk right in; it’s left of the bar. Karaōke might make you think you’re a real rock star. You can sing(almost) any song you want on Allison’s microphone.» Now it all started two Friday nights ago, when my friend and I went up to visit Allison and the Microphone at Frailey’s. Allison wasn’t in the restaurant part, she was in back, and so we decided it would be a friendly gesture to order appetizers and drinks, the steamed broccoli part of which was healthy, and the French fries part of which was tasty, along with very good beer like Goose Island IPA. So that’s what we had, late night snacks that couldn’t be beat. Then, we followed the sound of the music up to the bar area, and waited for the baseball and hockey games to end, so that the television volume could go down and the microphone volume go up. They got a white loose-leaf notebook, where you find all the songs in the karaōke program’s database, pages and pages that you can inspect, detect, infect, neglect, and select. Then Allison gives you this little piece of paper, and you write down the name of the artist and the song you want to sing, and you pass the paper up to the karaōke DJ laptop-soundboard command post, which looks all space-age like Lt. Uhura’s communication station on the starship Enterprise. And then you wait your turn, humming along while others get theirs. And when I finally went up there, I started jumpin’ up and down, and yellin’ out the words that were appearin’ on the screen right in front of me, which were changin’ colors to show me which word I was supposed to be on. Maybe I was actually in synch with the rhythm here and there, and was singin’ a few measures not too badly off-pitch. Soon a few other people started jumpin’ up and down with me, all my new friends, and we was yellin’, singin’ and having a real fun time. And so, Unilocal friends, can you imagine fifty people a night walking in and singin’ at the bar on Allison’s Microphone? They may think it’s a movement! And all you got to do, next time a karaōke Friday night rolls around, is get down there to eat, drink, and vocalize. «You can sing any song you want on Allison’s microphone. You can sing any song you want on Allison’s microphone. Walk right in; it’s left of the bar. Karaōke might make you think you’re a real rock star. You can sing(nearly) any song you want on Allison’s microphone.» –after Arlo Guthrie, jh

Just started travelling to STL for business… Asked Hotel for a good wing place… Fraileys I was told… Glad I went. Very good wings, they actually make them 4 different ways. If you like un breaded crispy wings, this is the place. One of the options are fired, sauced and fried again… Sat at the bar, had great service. Actually went back a 2nd time that week…

So got here the hostess was nice. Then sat here over 10 minutes then had the hostess ask for my server, then 20 seconds later was approached. Now here is why one star, so we got our appetizers and where Luke warm, waiting already another 10 minutes so got the food and was ok. Here’s the one star, a new couple came in, were greeted by the server within 1 minute, got there appetizers with 5 minutes. I’m like are you kidding. Basically this place only likes white people because me being Mexican I guess my money isn’t the same. What sucks I referred this place by some people I met in Arnold. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you were traveling. Oh and it was about 7 pm on a Sunday. Like for reals very slow

Been coming to Frailey’s since I was a kid. Have always been in my all time top three for best wings. I was a huge fan of the 5lbs. and a pitcher, so I was bummed to hear they don’t do it anymore. What was great about the 5 lbs and a pitcher is that they used very small wings that were somehow always cooked perfectly. Now, they have a different chicken supplied and don’t have the smaller wings anymore. Wings are still fantastic though, even if they are a bit pricey. The buffalo sauce is out of this world, as is the blue cheese. I don’t know if they make it in house, but it has always been the best blue cheese dressing I have ever tasted. One of my favorite things to do is take a marble sized chunk of blue cheese and put it on a single wing, resulting in the perfect bite. Original are my favorite, but grilled are fantastic as well. For the grilled, they use a garlic based buffalo sauce(think Frank’s + minced garlic) rather than the sweet/hot buffalo sauce of the original. You should probably skip the trashed though, they are typically dried out and are nowhere close to the original and grilled. They used to have all you can eat wings on Mondays during football season, but I believe they stopped they promotion last fall. Again, for wings these are on the pricey side, but they are some of the best in town.

Why go against the grain? I’m always looking for a new karaōke joint, and recently I discovered Frailey’s Southtown and its Friday night karaōke. Like many other reviews, I will say that I did love the karaōke but the place is pretty average. Friday night Frailey’s was holding a benefit for the St. Louis Pet Rescue. They were taking donations, both money and items. From what I could tell, the event was a definite success. As for the karaōke host, she was attentive and friendly. However, they had her corralled in the corner of the bar, which didn’t make for a good presentation. Nonetheless, she handled the singers quickly and painlessly. Some karaōke hosts drag their feet getting people through, but I didn’t have to wait long for my turn and had plenty of opportunities to sing. Also, she was very much in the spirit of Valenetine’s Day and the pet event, decorating her area with hearts and wearing dog ears all night long! As for the place itself, the wow factor certainly wasn’t there. However, the waiter did a good job and was on top of our food and drink needs. We ordered the appetizer sampler: chicken strips, toasted raviolis, cheesesticks, and potato skins. We were pretty satisfied with the order. Frailey’s offers some decent specials during the week, but I don’t see me heading down there any other day than Friday for karaōke. And I will definitely be back for the karaōke!

5 stars for the karaōke, the amazing wait staff(especially Tina) and good drink specials 3 stars for the food I go to karaōke a few times a month for karaōke on Fridays nights. I usually just order a few beers over the course of the night and have a great time. Occasionally, I have ordered food. The salads are okay. Wings are their specialty, but I prefer BBQ boneless wings so I skip that. I have ordered burgers in the past too and those are good. Tina is usually the bartender on Friday nights and she does an amazing job. She is incredibly attentive. And the karaōke? I heart Allison and her amazing KJing abilities so there isn’t much more to say there. It’s a fun time. Come on down.

I have always went to this place for some epic Karaōke hosted by Allison B on Friday nights. Last night I ended up finally ordering some food. We got a 14″ bacon and mushroom pizza. Oh my! Real… Thick…BACON! Amazing pizza. The staff at this place has always been very polite and professional. Tina who is the bartender is so awesome! I have never scene this place not busy with families, groups or if there is just an all out party going on at the bar. Nice TV’s at the bar too. Oh.by the way… the wings are very fab… so I here.

I agree with Stephanie, the karaōke is a 5 star experience. Allison the karaōke hostess, knows how to get a crowd pumped. She keeps the flow of entertainers going and encourages duets and groups to sing their very best. Also, as pointed out by Stephanie… the song book is huge. I don’t think the Mitch Miller song book was ever that big. Okay, I know you young folks are now going to have to go Google Mitch Miller to find out who he is. Thanks to the Internet old singalongs are not lost. The drinks were cheap. I didn’t pay the same price twice and I was drinking the same thing all night. I never challenged it, because it kept getting cheaper. Either the price goes down when karaōke begins, or it was my lucky night. The staff was friendly and the crowd was a good mix of ages. The only negative of the night was sitting next to a plus size couple making out and I mean serious tounge and breast grabbing. The bartender was flipping ice water on them to cool them down. Nothing slowed them down. If you’re a fan of karaōke, Frailey’s on Friday night is your spot. No food was consumed on this visit, but the appetizer sampler plate served to my right and left looked like a good accompaniment to a cold beer.

I would really love to give Frailey’s more stars. Allison is a fantastic karaōke DJ, and she has a few regulars that sort of blew my socks off… eh hem, Catherine M. Awesome sauce!!! We had a blast with a few sing-a-longs. Unfortunately… or fortunately(depending on how you look at things)… there was no dancing on tabletops, taking too many shots, thinking we kissed but forgot, or getting kicked out of the bar. There was definitely no hitting the boulevard… considering that the«boulevard» outside of Frailey’s includes a Waffle House, Schnucks, and a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combo. There was, however, several pictures taken… and a few videos. Just because our group was tamed despite Allison B.‘s rendition of «Can’t Be Tamed», doesn’t mean all of the Frailey’s clientele was. As soon as I walked in, I saw a couple sitting at the bar. I sort of had the feeling that they were going to be trouble, but didn’t know how much until the king and queen of trashy began making out. And the making out didn’t even begin until they evacuated their seats(which Steven B. and I quickly took over), only to come back 15 minutes later to rudely give me the stink eye and say that I had stolen their seats. Yeah, there was no polite stink eye tonight. Back to the making out. What a gross display of saliva and drunken hoosier pre-mating. If you are these people or know these people, you should be embarrassed! Super. Embarrassed. I was a little surprised at the size of the bar, when I walked in, but it ended up being okay. I took Stephanie S.‘s advice and skipped the food. The Bud Light on tap was just as good as it usually is… and I appreciated the frosted glasses. Service was very slow, but part of the issue is my height. No one ever sees me. Overall, I had a great night celebrating Allison and Steven’s birthdays… and OASIS Food Pantry will be thrilled by the donations made!!! It was great to see some of my favorite Unilocalers, and great to meet a few new ones. I even recruited a new Unilocaler… Welcome, Ivan. Happy Singing
