History

Established in 2012.

Franklins Pub was formerly Market Grill and a laundry list of other bars prior. Franklins opened in October, 2012. We actually went close to a month without a name. After a heated debate among the owners and our regulars, Franklins Pub was chosen as the favorite. It is named after one of our dogs. The personality of Franklin, the dog, and Frankins, the bar, are much alike – a lot of fun! We pride ourselves on quality food and drinks at LOW prices to support your every day Soulardian and St. Louisan. We are a free spirited bunch and learning as we go and grow. Feel free to drop us a line on any recommendations you have. Our goal is to make this as fun and friendly of an establishment as possible! Oh yeah… we’re easy to find as we are located at 8th & Lafayette just across the street from the Farmer’s Market. We have a red awning!
