We specialize in, costume rentals, magic, theater and special effects make-​up, costume sales, accessories, gag gifts, and souvenirs. We also carry the largest Mardi Gras mask selection in the Saint Louis area, including hand-​made leather masks (By: SLS, Scott Schoonover). We also carry a small selection of adult novelties and gag gifts.

History

Established in 1981.

Don and Lois Lobbig started in the gag shop business in 1981, where Lois hand made most of the costumes for rent, even to this day! And Don did the day to day operations and orders. The original location was at 20 Morgan Street on Laclede’s Landing, but moved years after to 811 North 2^nd Street. They needed more room! Here at Gibbol’s, we keep his dream alive, by working to keep the same level of high customer service and quality of products, as he would of expected. Lois is still involved with the company, and still our master seamstress.

Business Owner

Master Seamstress, business owner, and anchor to the whole team. She’s been here since the start, and to this day, she does the day to day operations involved with running the only souvenir shop on Laclede’s Landing, and the only true magic shop within 100 miles of St Louis.
