Excellent doctor's and staff. Receptionists are fantastic.

Doctor’s visit went great. But two weeks, multiple office visits, and several unreturned phone calls later, I am still waiting for the doctor’s office to follow up on a pre-authorization request from the insurance company. Sucky customer service.

The building could use a facelift but the Doctors I’ve dealt with, Dr. Avery and Dr. Vanketesan in particular, are great.

Although like others said, the building is not anywhere near modern, I always am able to get an appointment if its an emergency. The doctors and assistants are friendly and professional, and the wait time isn’t that bad, it just depends on the day. I’ve waited half an hour, and five minutes on separate occasions. I don’t know what another reviewers definition of run down is, but it’s nowhere near that. While it’s not the most regal or what you’d find in a hospital, it’s suitable for the setting of a general practitioner. I’ve always encountered the receptionist and staff wearing scrubs, although the receptionist is not always extremely friendly.

My appointment started on time and the doctor was sufficient and the bloodwork was returned to me proptly. Also, the woman who drew my blood easily found my vein and it was totally painless. The wait to get my blood drawn was less than a few seconds, so I appreciated the timeliness of the appointment. What I didn’t care for was the condition of the office building-super run down. The exam room looked like it was from the 1900s. The cart that they used to put all the bloodwork stuff on was rusty. Also, the receptionist was wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and a hoodie. I thought that was totally unacceptable for a professional setting.

My new GP works out of this medical building. It’s a little depressing and the place is just, and I mean just clean enough for a doctors office. It’s a pretty bare bones operation and clearly the building and exam rooms are not where the money is going. The medical staff are excellent and hold up their end of things, the paperwork and office people are at best surly and only marginally user friendly, so don’t give them any lip.
