Haefner Law Office, LLC was founded in 2007, and since that time, has focused on family law issues, with a special focus on divorce and custody. Since that time, we have helped hundreds of families through what is likely the most difficult times of their lives. By keeping up with current laws and trends, along with keeping client’s expectations and goals reasonable, Haefner Law Office has had tremendous success in reaching settlements when possible, and at trail when necessary.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Mark W. Haefner was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After high school, Mark attended the University of Missouri — Kansas City where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice.

Upon graduating from UMKC, Mark began working at the Missouri Division of Family Services. He investigated child abuse and neglect. He later transferred to the Alternative Care unit, and worked with children in foster care. Mark returned to the University of Missouri — Kansas City and earned his law degree. Mark worked throughout law school at a family law firm in Lenexa, Kansas, and continued as an associate attorney at that firm until 2007, when he opened Haefner Law Office.

Mark wanted his firm to focus exclusively on family law matter with a focus on divorce and custody matters. Mark has represented hundreds of clients in both contested and uncontested matters, and believes that having an knowledgeable advocate is imperative to ensuring that the client is protected during divorce.
