Went there on a Tuesday night. Had to wait to be seated. There were two tables but one waitress was chatting with table and other was in lala land sitting in corner. Ordered bottle of wine that came with heavily water spotted glasses. Waitress actually held up to the light like she was seeing if they were clean and then poured the wine anyway. My medium rare steak came out grey all the way through. Vegetables were almost raw and unseasoned. Not a good experience. Will not be going back.

We went in for drinks. We sat for 5 minutes without ANY service. We left without be served. They weren’t even busy, so it was baffling why no one took our order.

For the last 4 years, I have been on the lookout for a free meal. Looks like this shall continue for 4 more. I went to a retirement seminar being held at Jefferson Grill. For 90 minutes of our time, my husband and I were well fed. What’s 90 minutes when you are waited on, served beverages, chatting with strangers and picking up some financial views. We had a fresh, crisp dinner salad served with a basket of rolls and butter. I had the Beef Medallions. Two large tender cuts served with mashed potatoes and sauteed zuccini. My husband had the Filet of Tilapia. An unknown dessert followed, as we left before it was served. Jefferson Grill is located in the same building as PJ’s Tavern in Kirkwood. It has a «je né sais quoi» atmosphere. ;) works for me!
