Macklind Days is a street festival sponsored by the Macklind Business District which takes place on the last Saturday of September. The event was started to showcase and promote local businesses in a family friendly neighborhood festival. While this festival is geared towards the residents of the SOHO (South Hampton) neighborhood, it’s not exclusive and all are welcome. Vendors from local businesses setup booths and sell select items and beer for the adults, however there are also booths just for kids offering face painting and various activities. Live music and other entertainment is available making for a perfect way to spend the afternoon. Macklind Days takes place the last Saturday of September, from 11am — 8pm on Macklind Avenue between Devonshire and Nottingham.
