My husband and I had to be a realtor’s nightmare scenario. He has a house, I have a house, we needed a new house and at the same time needed to sell ours. There’s so much to say so I’ll start at the beginning. My husband and I were out of town and found a cool house online we wanted to see. I sent an inquiry online and got a pretty immediate response from Mark. Much to our disappointment, that house was under contract. Mark went on to inquire about our needs. I should mention here that this was super late on a weekend night. I told him our whole situation, to which most realtors at that point in the past have said something to the effect of, «Well when you’re ready to sell your other houses, call me.» Mark was genuinely interested and willing to take on our situation. I was used to realtors who are initially enthusiastic, only to drop you once you show your colors as a difficult client (which I can admit that I am). This was professionally enclosed in a folder with Mark and Kim’s information and business card. My husband and I were beyond impressed. Fast forward to the morning my husband and I found our home. We call Mark and he and Kim are out there showing us the house within the hour. They held our hands throughout what became an incredibly complex deal involving serious repairs that had to be made, as well as banking bungles that took us all on a roller coaster ride of epic magnitude. Contract amendments, extensions, you name it. Our deal must have included every what — if scenario taught in real estate school. Throughout it all, at all hours, weekends, you name it, Mark and Kim are there. Accessible, responsive, a phone call or text away. I cannot even imagine the deal working out had they not served as a liason not only to the seller but also to our bank. INCREDIBLE SERVICE.
