I love Master Auto! My Jeep needed a lot of work, but I was scheduled to go to IL. Not only were they able to get my Jeep taken care of right away, they gave me a loaner car so I wouldn’t miss any of my scheduled appointments! I was especially surprised by the gift left for me when I picked up my Jeep! As the owner of a mobile chiropractic business, Master Auto takes care is me, so I can continue to take care of others! Great service from people who dint Gide you the run around. Quicker than any auto repair shop that I know. I usually don’t make reviews on Unilocal but decided after the service I received that they deserve it.

Stellar service and technicians. My car wouldn’t pass emissions and other shops such as Dobbs and Firestone couldn’t figure it out and just wanted to throw parts at the car in hopes it would work. I was recommended Master Auto from the very helpful staff at GVIP and have no regrets taking my car up there. Left it with them for 1 day and they figured the issue out exactly. I approved the charges and they had me on the road the next day with a passing emissions test. They know what they are doing and I definitely trust them! I have already recommended them to 2 friends already and I just picked my car up today!

I have owned a myriad of cars in a host of different cities over the years. I have always driven a lot for work and in the past my cars were usually 15+ years old so I made a habit of finding the good service establishments in every city along the way. Master Auto Repair in South City/​Crestwood (8216 Watson 63 119) is a life saver; easily the best of all the places I have called home.
Customer service (ie Angie, who ROCKS) is consistently responsive, helpful and honest. The work is always done timely and priced reasonably. They consistently go above and beyond to accommodate me.
I love this place so much that when I finally got rid of my old ‘college car’ and started leasing a new Volvo, I continued going back to Master Auto Repair for service even though it was free at Volvo for the first year. There’s something about the dealerships… the fast-​talking and insincere speeches, the long wait times, the hidden fees, et cetera et cetera. Trust is paramount and I trust Angie and the guys at MAR completely. I highly recommend Master Auto Repair.

Lori and her team are amazing. They did everything they could to make sure my vehicle was serviced as quickly as possible and everything was done properly. Lori explained to me everything that needed to be done, showed me the items I had questions on, and educated me about the decisions/​choices I needed to make. I felt empowered to make an educated decision about my vehicle and NEVER felt intimidated because I did not know what she was talking about. The ability to use their loaner care, even for something as minimal as an oil change, is another one of the many reasons why I will continue to use Master Auto Repair for all of my auto service needs.

Woman-​friendly, up front, honest, & affordable for the level of service. You can totally trust these guys. I’ve been to 3 of their locations (currently the Watson Rd. location) and they’re the best.

I’ve used their services twice and both times I was very satisfied and treated well by the staff. They lent me one of their Loner Cars both times so that I wasn’t inconvenienced while the work was being done. Lori is very personable and honest when it comes to the best thing to do in each case. That goes a long way when getting my car worked on as I don’t know everything there is to know about car maintenance, by everything I mean an apple’s worth in an orchard. I trust Lori and her team to be straight forward, honest, and timely to me with excellent customer service. I’ll be returning when I need my car worked on and I’d highly recommend using them. I’ve been using them for about a year now for routine maintenance on a 2011 vehicle. They do good work and are timely in finishing it. Their rates are in between the low-​rent mechanics and the dealers, but the quality of work is high. Most importantly, the staff are very willing to work with you on what can be done now or later, and what the vehicle really needs versus pushing unnecessary work. I can schedule in advance to ensure a free loaner car. The folks are really friendly.

The staff here was friendly over all. The service was quick, but their prices were very high. I chose this place because it had decent reviews and was very close to my work. Compared to the shop I have used in the past, I was completely taken by surprise by their estimate for my repairs. Needless to say, I only had what absolutely had to be repaired done at Master Auto. I took my car back to my regular shop and had the remaining repairs done for about $ 400 dollars less than what Master Auto quoted. So, if you don’t care about money I would recommend this place, but if you are looking for a value definitely shop around!
