Do not do business with this company!!! Beware!
I ordered a product online from their division called «the AV Spot». I knew there was a chance the product wouldn’t meet my needs, so I called in advance to make sure I could return it with no restocking fee as long as it’s in perfect condition.
As it turns out, I discovered the product wouldn’t meet my needs, so I let them know I would be returning it unopened. That’s when they hit me with a $ 75 restocking fee! It was a classic case of what I was told over the phone was different than the fine print of their return policies on the website. My order was not a special order and there was nothing on the web site or in my phone calls with them that indicated the item would be dropped shipped from the manufacturer.
They do not stand behing what their salespeople claim. They think it’s reasonable for me to pay $ 75 restocking fee for a small boxed item that has never been opened.
I should’ve bought it through
– they wouldn’t have charged me a restocking fee.
