Official Passport Event: The Wrap Party @ STL Style!

I love seeing Unilocalers in a cool local business! That’s exactly what this Wrap Party provided!
The food was great! I had a burrito and it was really yummy. The drinks were simple but happy. Finally, the ice cream was really amazing. I loved the lemon and the orange chocolate habanero. WIN!
I was also really glad I got to check out this space!

Laid back atmosphere, awesome burritos, and a great band!
This was the perfect event to wrap up the week, a huge thanks goes to Aimee for putting so much hard work into planning all the events!!! This week was a great success in my eyes.
STL Style has some of the funniest t-​shirts in the city… I especially love the baby onsie that sports the quote «So, where’d you go to preschool?» Hilarious, if I had a kid they would most definitely have one of those!
The other thing I enjoyed about this event was some fresh faces, it is always fun to meet new people and find out how they found out about Unilocal,etc.

It may have been «The Wrap Party», saying farewell to a week of celebrating Cherokee Street, but it was not a goodbye to Cherokee Street. This entire week was a great way to introduce Unilocalers to the possibilities found on a street that has a huge wooden Indian at its’ entrance.
We started at week out at, Nebula and ended it at STL Style with several stops in between. STL Style was a great host location for the wrap party. Not only was it a fine tribute to Cherokee Street, but also all the other great «hoods» in our medium sized city, with the selection of t-​shirts.
Sometimes simple is good and this Unilocal celebration was proof of that. Simple cocktails, burritos from Siete Luminarias, live music and a bunch of Unilocal members who support local businesses chatting through the night.
I loved the shop cat who thought everyone came to see him. I’ll be back to visit him and to grab some of the city stickers, a coffee mug and a t-​shirt or two.

What a great event! Seriously, this probably is going down as my «favorite» event. For real.
Even though it was pouring rain outside, people still attended this event. It just goes to show that Unilocalers take these events seriously-​you can always count on a Unilocaler to show up no matter what the weather is like-​even if we are experiencing some of this «hurricane» weather. I also think there were some tornado warnings today-​crazy weather.
Anyway…
I was honored to be able to help out with the check-​in; I think greeting people is a great way for me to get to know all the other awesome Unilocalers. I loved it-​thanks for letting me help out Aimee! Bri-​you were missed, but I know you were working hard with recruitment.
The venue was great-​the owners of the shop were so fun-​and the cat was so cute! Not to mention the great music, drinks, and ice cream. Oh, and of course the Unilocalers who attended were pretty great too! I think the crowd was filled with some of my favorite people ever-​really-​I met some very cool people tonight; including, Lorena A. Kelsey J., Mandy S., Stephen B., and so many others… I really did mingle with almost everyone. I also enjoyed hanging out with Amanda K., Stephen W., Elle P., Eno U., Kathryn B., Hao X., Steven B., and all the familiar Unilocalers! Tonight was really just about getting to know one another and enjoying the night on Cherokee Street.
Congrats to all the winners of their T-​Shirts: Eno U., Dennis W., and Heather D. I hope you enjoy the shirts that STL had to offer! I had a good time digging through the raffle tickets to pick out your names!
This entire week of events for passport was so much fun-​I an so glad I was able to participate in so many of the events.
You did a great job planning the events this week Aimee-​now please go relax and enjoy your vacation!

But for reals, STL Style holds a special place in my heart. Just down to earth people who sell a great product that encompasses all the different faces of St. Louis. The Jump Starts provided a chill music vibe, and all around great event tonight! Special shout out to Aimee for all of her hard work this week for Passport! Awesome job!
