Pink Magnolia

If you love Lilly then you’re definitely going to love the Pink Magnolia. They carry a great selection of all the latest Lilly styles and also have a sale section in the back of the store where you can find really cute items from previous seasons. The girls that work there are super nice, and they are always more than happy to hold items in your size when you can’t make it to the store right away.

This store has great selection and a really nice variety. However, don’t bother going in. The service is so pathetic it’s not worth the trouble. Every time I’ve gone in the sales staff act like its imposition to help you. They are rude, and spend the whole time gossiping with each other instead of assisting customers. I was in a rush on Friday and went in to grab a dress. I was never greeted or helped, despite the fact that there were THREE sales people in that tiny store. They were too busy talking to each other to help me or the other patrons. I went to check out and they took an absurd amount of time to ring up the lady in front of me. By the time they got to me I was about to leave because of how ridiculous this was. It took ALL THREE of them together to input the sales price… Fifteen minutes to check out for one dress. Unbelievable. The ladies behind me actually walked out because it was taking way too long. What a shame. Management needs to get new staff who are actually useful and train them properly. I will not be returning. Not to mention, their return policy is ridiculous.

Love the brand, but was overall disappointed in this store. We went on a Saturday, but they were not very busy. I guess they didn’t like how we were dressed, because most of the staff simply stared at us and talked to each other rather than helped.
One girl was super nice and helpful! One. She helped me locate the item I went in after. She found me additional sizes and checked on me in the fitting room. When it came time to purchase items, another lady stepped in and took over. I hope they aren’t working on commission, as she took the items away from the only associate willing to help me.
I purchased two items that day, but purchased two additional from the Lilly website since then. Pink Magnolia is the closest store, and I prefer trying on and supporting a small business, so hopefully the snootiness of an atmosphere was a fluke event. Sadly, after talking with friends, I’m not sure it was. I hope to return to the store and be met with a warmer reception the next time I’m in the area.

Love Lilly Pulitzer but the service was so disappointing! Bought a $ 70.00 pair of shorts but was treated like I was at Wal-​Mart. Very sad how snobby the 3 ladies were.

I LOVE the Pink Magnolia. Their clothes are adorable, they have a wonderful policy of holding items for you or calling you when something you’re specifically looking for comes in. They have great sales that you won’t find on the Lilly Pulitzer websites and I’ve never once felt judged for coming in and trying on all sale items! I think the other reviews are kind of funny — personally, I don’t like to be bothered much when I’m shopping. I’m ALWAYS asked if one of the associates can start a dressing room for me or if I’d like help/​am looking for something specific, and no one has ever been rude to me.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the pink magnolia!!! Everyone there was kind and patient and super helpful at picking out items! I love my new clothes and I will going back often and taking my friends! Do yourself a favor and make sure to shop the Pink Magnolia for all your Lilly Pulitzer needs!

Excellent experience! Love the clothing and tons of fun accessories. Wonderful sales associates who were extremely helpful and courteous. I’ll definitely be back here again!

We were excited at Christmas to find this store and purchase several nice presents gift wrapped beautifully. We live two hours away and one item didn’t fit properly. The store closes too early for is to leave work and travel to the location. We called the store to request that they work with us to EXCHANGE an item which is still listed on Lilly web site at full price, 15 days after the 30 day cut off. They refused even though we had spent over $ 300 at their store and simply wanted to exchange the item for something else. FYI the Lilly web site allows for exchanges up to 90 days and is open ²⁴⁄₇.

Shopping at Pink Magnolia is like going to a fancy party where everyone is too snobby to talk to you. It’s pretty but not very enjoyable. I’ve been shopping here for a few years and I finally decided to stop going in — I’m going to stick with ordering directly from the Lilly Pulitzer site. The selection there is great, but the salespeople ruin the whole shopping experience and give you judgmental looks while doing it. There is one salesgirl I like who is helpful and friendly, but the rest are cold, gossipy, and just unpleasant to interact with.
At the Endless Summer Sale this year, my friend and I went in and shopped ungreeted while the saleswomen blatantly gossiped behind the counter. The store was fairly busy but they all stood there talking among themselves. After not being able to find what we wanted, we walked out without anyone saying goodbye. I was used to the women’s attitude’s from prior visits, but that kept me from going back for months. This week I decided to give it another try and I got the same thing.
Ladies, I want your help, I don’t want to listen to you talk about your friend’s cars and what dress you’re getting for VP. For the price I am willing to (and do) pay at Lilly, I should get really great customer service, which I am not here. Pink Magnolia needs look into hiring people with more retail/​business experience, not just sorority girls and sorority moms who look the part.
Buying Lilly should be fun, but I usually walk out of there a little annoyed. Do yourself a favor and shop online.

After reading everyone’s comments I realize that I am not the only one that felt completely unwelcome when shopping here! I was given a gift (that was purchased at this Pink Magnolia store) and went back to return it the next day. The sales associates were so rude and almost didn’t let me return the purchase because I personally had not purchased it. While I was shopping, the associates were following me around as if I were going to rob the store. I am someone who purchases a lot of Lilly items and refuse to give that store any more of my money. Save your time and pay the extra $ 7 for shipping.

My daughter and I shop frequently at Pink Magnolia and truly love the store and the service. Our last visit was to look for a prom dress and the selection was awesome. My daughter tried on several options of her own selections, plus others suggested from the staff. She chose one that the staff recommended. Our experience was wonderful and we could not have felt more comfortable shopping in the store. We were greeted when we walked in and felt like we had made great friends by the time we left. Love the selection and the service.

My daughter and I shopped at Pink Magnolia yesterday for the first time in a long time. We shopped online and honestly stayed away from this store because of the horrible reviews.
For us these reviews turned out to be unfounded, as our experiencewas WONDERFUL! The ladies were very helpful, complementary and Christy even put together outfits for my daughter to try on. We had a great shopping experience!
For our Lilly fix we will difinately shop the Pink Magnolia… Great selection, Helpful & Kind Staff, and NO Shipping Fees. We willdefinitelybe back!

Being a part of the retail world, service is big for me. The sale associates are completely useless here as they just stand around at the counter and condescendingly stare at you and nothing more, which then deters customers from wanting to continue their experience in the store. Yes, these workers may fit the part as far as the «Lilly look» goes, but these girls definitely have not had any retail experience at all. Management must either revamp their new hire training process or find new associates. However, the store looks great itself with a good layout.

Nice clothes, terrible service, attitude, & return policies. Will not be shopping here again.

With this being the only Lilly location the St. Louis area, I have tried 3 times to go in and get service. I’m a big fan of the Lilly brand, but every time I have come in, I have not been greeted nicely, 2^nd time, I was completely ignored and my last visit today, they were more helpful than the two times before. It doesn’t make sense because when I have been there it has not been busy at all.
They have a decent selection of the current collection. The store is laid out nicely. Compared to other Lilly stores, I just wish the customer service was at a higher level. If you are shopping there, you are going to be spending some money there, that’s just Lilly.
After 3 attempts, I fear I may have to keep my love of Lilly online.

I LOVE this store, it is so awesome to have one around. It’s a Lilly Pulitzer via shop, so it’s where you get all your Lilly stuff! The store is really clean, smells nice, bright, the clothes are always neatly placed, sized and they always have new things coming in. I feel every time I go there it’s a brand new place with each new collection. They also have the kids section and a nice sale rack. The ladies that work there are nice too, not snobby like in other places. I also love the outside of the store, with its huge pink door!
