Great place to hang out, have a cold one, and relax. The owner is very friendly and will bullshit with you.

As of May 2015, this place is under new management. The new ownership did a great job giving the place a new coat of paint, as well as improving the quality of the pool tables(new felt and balls). They have great deals on beer usually, so it’s an inexpensive way to enjoy the evening.

It’s a decent place, especially if you like to play pool as that’s the majority of space. They also have a foosball table, darts, and ping pong. There are three single bathrooms, one for each sex and one for either. They are closet sized with the occasional cleaning supply stored away in them. The bathrooms also have funny and random signs hung on the walls if you enjoy reading while you go. The owner of the place is very personable. He helped a friend and me with our form which really improved our game. There is not a full bar, but they do have a plethora of beer and a decent enough variety of liqueurs. In addition, every time I’ve been there, the bartender doesn’t know how to mix drinks. It’s never been a huge deal and they do know an app to help them, which is useful. Here is what has given this place 2 stars from me: The only way to get music here is to purchase it with what is basically a modern jukebox. Most songs are 2 credits which costs a $ 1. You can put in $ 5 and get 12 credits though, which is much better. The jukebox itself isn’t that bad. It’s what happens when no one wants to pay for music anymore: the bar gets crazily quiet and it sounds like they’re closed. No joke, my group was heading out for the night because all of our songs were over. A guy walks in and he immediately says, «Are you guys closed?»

Located right next to Pole Position, this bar is a solid, cheap, clean pool and darts spot. $ 1 pool. My one critique is that they could use some work on the lighting and«ambiance» inside; it feels a bit too much like the strip mall in which it’s located. It is quite bright inside and has a drop ceiling(office building style) with white tiles… not a «bad» thing, but if they dim the lights a bit(I was there in the daylight, so maybe they adjust at night) and swap out those ceiling tiles for whatever it is that bars usually put in(darker tiles, at least). I stopped in for a beer before a race at Pole Position and the owner, who also owns the Martial Arts studio next door, approached and introduced himself to me and my group of friends to ask us how we’d heard about the place and to thank us for stopping by. I live too far away to frequent this bar on a regular basis, but it is the type of place I could see spending many nights shooting pool and drinking. I think the best part starting to frequent this place would be knowing the owner and giving him your input on what you would like to see the bar be going forward; he seemed very receptive to input from the customers, and the place is pretty new. I recommend trying it out if you are in the neighborhood and want a night out on a budget.

A refreshing change from the local pool and dart places! I read another review where the lighting is too bright like a grocery store. i assure you the place is lit from pool table lights, dart board lights, fluorescent beer lights, and small wall sconces for score keeping. The place rocks! there is a limited«bar food» menu but you can’t beat the beer and liquor prices. VERYAFFORDABLE!!!

I’ve only been here a couple times so far, so there’s room to upgrade my review. There are about 87-foot coin-op pool tables, which seem in decent condition. There were a few rolls on the tables, but management seems eager to get any flaws taken care of. There are steel-dip and soft-tip dart boards. The menu consists of pizzas, hot dogs, brats, and chips-cheese. They have drink specials, and I think on Saturday, it’s $ 10 buckets. They have been holding several tournaments for dart and pool players, which are gaining in popularity. Employees are friendly, bathrooms are clean, smoking outside. On my 2 visits, it was pretty brightly lit. I’m indifferent about this, but some of my fellow poolplayers felt it was lit more like a grocery store than a pool hall. Concrete flooring, 1 large TV above the bar, ample parking, TouchTunes jukebox. As it grows in popularity, this location will probably need more tables and chairs. When you approach it, watch for the sign. It’s set back from the road at an angle facing northwest next to a martial arts studio in a mini shopping plaza with plenty of parking.
