The staff here is incredible. Trust them. They will help you with any issue you are having, without judgement, and with genuine care. When I visited this location they were short staffed but still being timely and polite. I really have only good things to say about this place. Cassie is amazing.

I really liked my experience here. There’s a security check in right at the door. At first I thought «Overkill much?» But then with all the crazys out there, yeah, probably a great idea. Went downstairs. The woman at the desk was really nice and helpful. The nurse I talked to was awesome. The waiting room had a few other people, which told me they don’t overbook, which is fabulous. I did have to wait 30 minutes till I was actually seen, that’s 30 minutes after my appointment time, but oh well. They were super nice, and I would absolutely come back if I ever need to.
Side note: the people out on the sidewalk with their religious flyers… get out of my face. And she like nearly blocked me getting in. I almost ran the girl over.

The nurses at this location all have an amazing bedside manner. The staff are nice, though I’ve realized that if I go on different days, the different staff members will have totally different procedures than others. They are all great about answering my questions (or getting me to the right person) about everything from billing to my specific health requirements. They also make getting birth control easy, though the sliding pay scale can be rough if you make between certain amounts.
The one major downside is the crazy protesters outside who sometimes get so close to my car that I worry I’ll run over their toes, but I really think they’d bolster my courage if I was ever actually getting an abortion, rather than the health services they seem so upset about me getting.

Convenient location and easy to find… just look for the slew of anti-​abortion protesters outside.
Also, because of aforementioned protesters, expect to go through a security checkpoint with a metal detector wand first… kinda threw me for a loop.
I needed birth control ASAP (the end of that prescription kinda snuck up on me), and I knew PP is pretty good about quick appointments, so this is where I turned. I had told them over the phone what my insurance was, but after filling out all the paperwork, the woman at the front desk told me they don’t take my insurance. Information that would have been helpful over the phone, don’t you think? Then she tells me to re-​fill out the paperwork and put in that I’m unemployed so I can get a discount. Cue uneasiness. Isn’t that some type of fraud? Well, I’d already been in the waiting room 45 minutes, and I’ve donated to PP in the past, so I guess it’s an even trade? Sigh. I asked her how much this visit would cost me instead of my co-​pay, and she shrugged and said, «Twenty bucks.» Oh, okay then!
I had gotten there VERY early, (like, an hour early… it was on the way home from work and I didn’t want to just turn around and come back) yet they still took me back 20 minutes after my appointment time.
When I got back, the medical assistant asked about the point of my visit, and I told her it was just to get a BC prescription. She then told me it would be $ 65. WHAT THE EARTH? I told her the lady at the front desk told me it would be $ 20. She said, «I’m sorry they weren’t more clear about that.» Uh, more like, «I’m sorry she flat out lied?»
I just left. I’m just glad they told me this before I was seen, otherwise I would be livid. But still, poor communication and wasting my time makes me quite irritable.
I love Planned Parenthood and what they’re about, and I enjoyed the entertaining segments on their TV about safe sex and birth control options (gotta remove the stigma about sexual health so people can feel comfortable and empowered about taking care of themselves!), but I can’t recommend this location unless you desperately need it and can’t get into your regular doc.
