Good deal for 50 bucks. Loved the laminate floors! Didn’t love that the floor was absolutely covered in dirt the first night. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning it on subsequent days. Sink area had relatively new counter and fixtures, seemed pretty nice. Shower curtain was mildewy and didn’t smell the best, but other than that the bathroom was clean.(My shower curtain at home has some mildew on it, so I should probs deal with that before complaining about someone else’s mildew…) I’ve seen cleaner pillows and pillowcases, but not in hotels that were $ 50/night. :) Flatscreen TV was super nice and new. In general, the furniture and fixtures all seemed pretty new. Heat was old-style radiant heat but was quiet and worked great. Did not find any evidence of bedbugs or bugs of any kind. Overall, a really decent place to stay with a dog for a few days. I’m very happy I chose this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Got a follow up from the business. Just a «we will talk to the staff and we hope you come back». No apology for the inconvenience. I will not be returning.

Tikaiya not sure if I spelled her name right or wrong but she was very helpful for the midnight shift, great enthusiasm and joyful. Hopeful for another good small conversation because that’s what wins my stay. The stay was good. There was long piece of hair in the shower walls though. And not sure if there is suppose to be mattress covers but I sure did sleep on it. Not loud on Tuesday check in so unsure about neighborhood. It was very affordable. Hard to locate don’t turn into the highway look at map first because he entrance is where the hooters is next to gas station.

Reserved a NON-smoking room via Expedia, but the Red Roof Inn gave us a stinky, cigarette-stenched room instead. They said they were full and could not make a change. The smoke alarm, by the way, was dismantled and inoperable. The slide latch on our door was broken and inoperable. The shower had a high-pitched squeal. It was horrible. That, plus people I suspect to be the owners(a large family) were outside our room laughing and talking till after 11 pm. We were given a nonsmoking room the next day, and it was not bad, but considering we cannot trust the management, the place was loud and had a lot of «loiterers», and our first room was so bad, we won’t ever stay there again.

I would like to address my horrific experience at your Red Roof Inn in the Westport area of St. Louis, MO. I made a reservation via telephone with a gentleman by the name of Eric. He was polite and courteous throughout the conversation. I explained that my situation — stating that I have a late night/early morning flight into Lambert @ 1am on May 6. He stated that it would not be a problem to check in around that time into the hotel. He even went as far as stating that it would be considered an early check-in for that day. I was scheduled to stay from May 6 — May 10, checking out @ 6am. He even took measures to notate it on the system regarding my arrival, so that there would be no errors or hassles. He, also, took the liberty to e-mail the confirmation of my stay & its details. On May 6, when I landed & got to the hotel, the night clerk could not find my reservation. I went back to my vehicle to grab the entire confirmation e-mail that I received from Eric. She was able to find my reservation and advised me that I would be have a room until later that day. I advised her of the conversation & the notes made regarding my reservation. She was very cold, unconcerned about this situation currently in the hotel. She kept telling me that my type of room was not available until later that day and that there was nothing she could do despite what was there in the system. She continuously kept telling me that it was May 5& not May 6. I advised that after midnight, it is the next day, thus May 6. She told me that it didn’t matter and that it is not May 6. Basically, your hotel staff left me out in the cold with no accomodations; nowhere to lay my head while visiting. She didn’t feel it necessary to try to accommodate me into another room for until later that day. Needless to say, this is the worst experience dealing with a hotel that I have ever had. In turn, this stressed me out so much that I did end up with a medical emergency that same day. My visit to St. Louis was bad & your establishment I place blame on it. Your hotel & staff is pathetic, rude, and insensitive to patrons. I will do everything in my power to NEVER stay at ANY of your hotels. I will let others know of your hotel’s very cold & callous way of running a hotel. I will advise other businesses, websites of this matter. You establishment has truly ruined what was supposed to be a pleasant trip.

I will start by saying it is clean and convenient if you have dogs. But the people at the front desk are absolutely rude. We had to stay 3 weeks from moving and we have dogs. I cleaned our room myself. On the third week we paid cash, yet they still charged our card. When we confronted them about it, they first told us it was temporary but it actually ran on our card. When we approached the front desk about it, the guy said«Oh well». Poor customer service.

Next to highway but clean and the beds are fine. Plus who’s to complain about a 50-something room anyway?
