Rick’s Barber Shop On Union Rd

4 generations of my family have been coming to Rick and before him his father Sam since 1960. Only one bloodline has cut our families hair.
Best Barber ever.

This is a nice barber shop, I decided to give him 4 stars instead of 3. What I am just going to write is my personal opinion and not necessarily will reflect your decision to pay him a visit.
(I got my haircut done in this place 3 times then I changed the barber)
Pors:
*He would give you a nice hair cut, or close to the hair cut you want.
*The price for hair cut and beard trim is cheap.
*Barber personality is very friendly and will try to entertain you while getting your hair done.
Cons:
*He can’t zero bold to skin level (bold as in skin has absolute no hair) which I prefer on my sides. Doesnt own the tool nor he will get it in future.
*Not so much with beard trim 2.5 of 5. I have had much an organized one, not just a quick trim.
*Overbooked, you must call to reserve an appointment.
*Haircut duration 7 – 10 mins, at least.
I am a traveler and I always end up moving to a new place. I have had barbers in different areas who will spend approximately 40 – 60 minutes to provide you with a great, clean and satisfied hair cut, and based on that I am comparing this barber.

Thanks Unilocal. Finally found true barber shop in South St. Louis. Rick has been a barber for over 20 years and he will cut your hair to your satisfaction at a fair price. Give him a call. You will be happy. Location is off main road but his Barber Shop is on the far side if the building not visible from the road. Great location easy to get there just be sure to ask him for directions.

My husband & son have been coming here for years. This place is like going back in time-​a great classic barber shop!
