Sam is a very talented, creative, reliable, great hair stylist. He’s also charming and funny — you should get your hair done by him.

I will forever go here. I can send Samuel a photo of what I want, and he cuts it that way. I can also tell him to do whatever, and I come out with a super cute and trendy hair cut.
Samuel is fun and has a great rapport with his clients.

First Class Service!!! I have been coming to Sam for 5 years and far most the best stylist I have had. I’ve been natural for 8 years and had a difficult time finding a stylist that can straighten my hair and prevent frizzing after leaving the salon. He’s is my lifesaver and no one else have come close. Strongly recommend if you want strong and healthy hair, someone is quick and great personality.

I have notoriously thick and difficult hair. Sam is the first person who has not only tamed it, but who has given me a haircut that remains functional even as it grows. He also provides fantastic coloring services (recovered me from a horrible orange mishap). I’ve been seeing Sam for years and I won’t let anyone else touch my hair now. I never knew I could actually love my hair until I met Sam!

I have been getting my hair styled and cut from Salon Samuel Jacob for a year or so and the best part is he listens! I get the style I want and it’s perfect everytime. Plus as a guy, I do get some color (shhhh!) and from style to style it always matches so no one can tell. That’s important to me. Lastly, he will listen to my life challenges so as a «life coach» it get the cut, style, color and therapy. It’s a good deal all around!

My mom and I tried the Samuel Jacob salon after winning a gift certificate in a silent auction. We weren’t quite sure of what to expect when trying a new stylist but were definitely pleasantly surprised!
Samuel made us feel right at home in his loft studio. He has a great, bubbly personality that you can’t help but like!
I can tell he takes great pride in his haircuts and styles. He actually listened to what I wanted and gave me a new style that was desperately needed to update my look. He also helped my mom embrace her curls – showing her a new way to style with products.
We’ll definitely be going back to see Samuel again for another haircut and wax. His prices are very reasonable and the location is ideal, right in the heart of Maplewood. Go see Sam
