I am so glad this place has closed. They false advertise. I held my 21st birthday here thinking it was going to be an exciting event. This place is dead, loud hi hop music playing with literally me and 6 friends standing there. No one else .just waitresses. The bouncer didn’t even ask for id. About an hr later there was some party with guest going up stairs but still an overall dry experience

Horrible! From the service to the food to the bathrooms, NOTOILETSEAT — horrible! The drink glasses were filthy. Our food took over an hour to get, then came out burnt, soggy and with the added bonus of A BUG crawling out the sandwich. They couldn’t make half of the drinks we requested because they were out of the ingredients, i.e. pineapple juice, schnapps, etc. I strongly recommend never stepping foot in this«restaurant».

Service was non-existent the food was burned and when the waitress sat my food down a roach crawled from under the plate. I will not go back.

I wish there was a way to half the 1 star. There were 7 of us and not one enjoyed their meal. I ordered the crab cakes and fries. The crab cakes were served warm and with an 1⁄8 of a teaspoon of the sauce and a teaspoon of slaw served with it. The flavor was just so so. The fries were limp and greasy. And we found out that they were garlic parmesan fries… We had no idea cause there was no seasoning. I ordered a mixed drink that I order when I go out to different places, I didn’t even recognize it. The atmosphere… Dark… We had to use flashlights on our phones to see the food… Bottom line… This was my first time… off night? Maybe, but I won’t be going back to find out…

If you’re looking for a grown-and-sexy lounge/club that serves food and drinks, then Soho is up your alley. That being said, I’ve had food here several times. I had the chicken and waffles a few years ago and the«syrup»(if you want to call it that) wasn’t sweet or thick, and the waffles were super dry. The chicken here is pretty good though. The other night I had a burger. It was huge and was on a baked set of 4 Hawaiian slider rolls. That was weird and kept making the«bun» fall apart. the burger itself was decent though. My cousin ordered the salmon and enjoyed it, but at about 9pm another cousin ordered the same burger that I had and was told that they were out of hamburger and offered her a garden burger instead. That seemed strange for a Saturday night to be out of hamburger, hours before the kitchen was set to close. As a lounge and event space, Soho is decent, but there’s not a lot of seating in the main dance area unless you order bottle service. There is a nice spacious private event space upstairs. The happy hour here on Friday evenings is also pretty good.

Nice venue. Narrow but tall(3 levels) with a beautiful rooftop. Valet parking so don’t bother with the metered spots or parking lots. Staff is nice, drinks are good, food is decent. I celebrated one of my birthdays here several years ago and the staff was awesomely accommodating.

The Good the Bad and Ugly and the LDF The Good– apps, tots, pretzels amazing balls. And their craft beer list when they list it. The Bad– I was told when asking about some great craft beer barrel aged beers when they would be servicing them. They told me to watch TapHunter the app which they will announce when they are released. Low and behold 1 – 2 months after checking the app 5 – 7 times daily they«secretly» release those beer and don’t mention them on TapHunter. This is the one very bad thing about St Louis beer scene they catch a lot of shit for. Unless you are one of their inner circle you won’t know about these releases… How lame guys. The Ugly– their pizza is equal to party pizza the frozen kind, so bad we have had sent it back. The Low Down Foo– be honest when you say you are going to announce something but don’t only thing your inner circle you look like a d-bag. We have been there 5 – 6 times in 5 – 6 months and will most likely not be back… And figure out how to make a flipping pizza knuckle heads. Moral of story don’t be a d-bag.

This place had the slowest service ever! 7 people went for a girls night/birthday dinner. They were out of bloody Mary mix, mashed potatoes, glasses, toilet paper and the red beans and rice were floating in butter AND55 minutes to get appetizers! Make sure you don’t accept a soda refill because they will be 2 dollars each. DONTBOTHER with this place. Stl has so many restaurants that have it together.

The venue was nice, like i said i was glad i got there early. The appetizers were good– crab cakes had a great consistency, they didn’t fall apart, fried just right. The cole slaw was lite and compliment the crab cakes extremely well. The wings were sloppy but in a good way. The sauce was finger licking good. And fried shrimp were good, the crust was very crispy and fell off. Which was a good thing, because the shrimp itself was big, spicy, and juicy. The portions were good and price great. The staff was great and made sure i had enough napkins and water.

Not bad, went on a Thursday for dinner. Nice atmosphere for a club or lounge, but not dinner. Service wasn’t up to par, but he was friendly. Music was too loud for as early as it was. Food was okay, but I think I would prefer this as a drinking spot.

Went here for Sunday brunch after seeing it in sauce magazine. Made a reservation by phone, but didn’t really need to once we arrived. They have a nice patio outside, but the hostess said there were no more tables outside, but there were plenty available. I think they were trying to bring everyone in, it was only 12:30 pm though. Inside is nice, it is decorated more like a club than a restaurant. I get that it’s a bar/lounge but the restaurant part seems clubby. It also could have been the loud(dance floor loud) r&b music playing that made it feel that way too. Our waitress was awesome, on top of it. But I was disappointed with the lack of manly food options. The menu is very short. I chose the omelet, and the menu said(add meat $ 2) so I asked for double chicken. But the only chicken they have here is wings. So she came back and told me that, I changed it to sausage. But I am still confused as to what meat you could add to the omelet, because all it seemed like they had was side meat, bacon or sausage. Once the food arrived it was good, vey hot, very flavorful, but was still hungry when done. My wife enjoyed their red velvet pancakes, but it too was petite. Overall I still had a good experience, just the music was a too loud, and need more meaty options.

Been here several times both for dinner and for the nightlife. Bad: Can only accommodate large groups outside. Staff has been a little bit rude a few times, especially the hostess. Drinks are a little bit hit or miss, usually pretty weak. Good: Crab cakes are incredible. Chicken and waffles were great. Fried green tomatoes were BOMB. Nice patio when you feel like relaxing, good mix of music when you feel like dancing.

Had a birthday dinner here. The bad: WEAK drinks. The gentleman’s lemonade tasted like just a lemonade. The bf suggested I try another drink. The mango cocktail tasted just like it was the mix and no liquor. The good: The food was great. The catfish was amazing: crispy, crunchy, flavorful, not too spicy, not oily, just perfect. I tried a bite of Eno’s salmon: it was perfect. Moist, light, flaky, delicately seasoned. The other bad: It was around 9, but we stayed until 9:30 to see how the club side of the restaurant was. The DJ was horrible. I don’t know if this was on purpose because it was so early. But he was playing the slowest music possible, all R&B, and all old stuff. Nothing remotely danceable. The Drake album had just dropped and was really hot, and he literally just played the intro to a song, and then cut off the song to play some other annoying R&B song. The good: I have been before, when it’s later at night the music is good, and the cover is manageable, maybe $ 5-$ 10. Funny story, saw a guy«make it rain» here, to the confusion of everyone around him, as this is obviously not a strip club.

Went for Sunday brunch. I ordered the waffles with catfish, and a side of breakfast potatoes. All was delicious. The fish was flavorful and cooked well. I personally would have liked my waffle cooked a little longer, like it a little crunchy. The breakfast potatoes were yummy… just a little too cool for my liking. Staff was friendly and helpful. I do plan to return and try dinner at another time.

Naturally you would expect for a restaurant/club to only serve bar food with pre-battered wings and nachos as the entrée, but that is not to be expected when you eat at SoHo. The restaurant itself is small and has an intimate setting(lighting could be better), but the place is beautiful. Its perfect for 1 – 1 or small groups. The food is decent portion size and has soo much taste. I have never been disappointed for dinner. I rate places off consistency and the salmon, and this place has won me over. *As with any new place, the staff could be more knowledge on the menu, but it doesnt take away from the Chef doing his/her thing!

Greasy, greasy, greasy! Urban. Maybe bougie. That’s how I would describe it. I enjoyed the place but my boyfriend kept commenting on how weird it was because the décor was a mix of elegance and trend, but the menu was mostly fried finger foods. He called it an identity crisis. Not to mention all female staff were baring midriffs. I had the catfish fingers(delicious, greasy). Chicken and waffles(pretty good). My boyfriend had the grown up grilled cheese(RICH, greasy.) It has some sort of boisson spread with chives in it. He didn’t finish it. The fries were good but greasy. They have still got some refining to do. I won’t go back because of how greasy the food was. The staff was nice and cute though. I have also been there to the lounge and it was very nice. I give 3 stars, he gives 1.

My boyfriend and I went to SoHo for the first time tonight. I like the location and the space has a lot of potential if managed properly. We did come on a Friday which may have something to do with our experience. They were on a wait so we went upstairs to the balcony area. We had to ask the server for drink menus. We ordered an appetizer. It took 30 min to get it. It was wings. They were delicious so it kinda made up for the wait. Once we were seated we pretty much immediately ordered our entrees. It was once again a very long wait time. When we did finally get our food my pork chop was over cooked. It tasted fine but was hard to cut thru and pretty dry for a $ 16 pork chop. I will say the collard greens were some of the best I’ve ever had. The music in the dining area was WAY to loud. I get that it is a restaurant and lounge but there is such thing as volume control. I’d also love to see them expand their drink selection. I am a gin drinker and my boyfriend loves beer and they had a minimal selection of both. I think this place has potential. It just has some refining that needs to take place to keep people wanting to come back in my opinion.

SoHo is just what the Grove needed. I attended SoHo’s grand opening. This place is UPSCALE&HOT! Watch out Washington Avenue and Central West End; SoHo just might be the start of making Manchester the place to see and be seen. The SPACE is amazing. The main level is divided into 3 sections: the restaurant, bar and lounge areas. There are also 3 sections upstairs: the bar, the lounge and the rooftop deck. The furniture(beautiful white chairs), the colors, lighting and artwork are all well done. The FOOD is great. It’s sophisticated southern food. We tried just about everything: fried green tomatoes, catfish fingers, shrimp/grits, chicken/waffles, crab cakes, fries, jerk chicken, and wings. The DRINKS are generously poured. I had the pineapple upside down drink. It will sneak up on you if you are not careful. Can’t wait to try other specialty drinks on the menu. The CROWD is sexy and diverse. Everybody was having a great time and looked good doing it. Lol. The ladies were not under dressed(if you know what I mean). The guys were looking grown. No lil’ boy attire, here. The SERVICE is responsive. There were a few glitches, but it was opening night and it seemed like everybody in town wanted to be here. The owner, management, and waitress took care of any concerns. SoHo is less than 2 miles from my house. It’s my new spot!!!
