They are the worst company about sending your orders! I ordered a simple halter and lead line 3 weeks ago and still haven’t received it. Their answer is that they only are a go-​between in that when you place an order, they place one with the manufacturer and then have no control over when it gets to you. HA! Amazon does the same thing and has things to you in a few days at most. I’m done with this place and you shouldn’t bother. There are a lot of choices for horse supplies online that are far far better (I’ve ordered from all of them so I know)–

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I guess I’m not alone here as most of the reviews on here are 1 star and same sort of complaints. I will never see the 50 buck order that they are not willing to refund!

It is a waste of money to buy anything from this on-​line stores. You pay to have the product shipped and if it doesn’t fit you pay the return shipping too. They get you coming and going. I ordered a helmet. The sizing chart was inaccurate so it didn’t fit. The other sizes were unavailable and so I was stuck with a big shipping bill and got nothing in return.
Support your local tack shops.

Buyer be ware. I would not recommend this company. We ordered boots and pants that were in stock. Then I received an email saying they were backordered (fine) and the boots would be sent out on June 10^th. On June 12, I checked my order online and it said everything was back ordered without a date, but when I clicked on the links, they said that the boots were in stock. I called asking where were the boots — why did my order say they were backordered when online they showed up as «in stock.» They said that I had called them (!?) previously and asked for my items to be held until they all came in. How does that make sense? I never called Statelinetack. It seems this business would rather save money on shipping then help their customers.

I recently purchased two felt pads from the online website. These pads were supposedly «on sale.» I paid $ 187 for one of the pads. Imagine my surprise when I pulled it out of the box and the sticker on it said «retail price $ 145.» Unfortunately, this pad did not fit my saddle so I needed to return it. I contacted customer service and was told that I would have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee. I complained about this and was told that a note would be placed in my account so that I would not be charged the restocking fee. This is a small consolation since I had to pay $ 34 for return shipping. I will not be ordering from Stateline Tack in the future.

I ordered tan breeches for fox hunting. I stressed that I had to have TAN because of the colors offered that would be the only one that was acceptable. I ordered two pair in TAN and had them sent 2 day air so I would be SURE to have them. They arrived and they were BLACK ! AND they were two sizes two small. I spoke to a customer service rep that said their was nothing they could do — call back Monday.

They do not do free returns and are sold out of the item that I needed to exchange for.

Placed an order successfully online to then receive an email later that afternoon saying that I needed to call in and repeat the billing and shipping information and last 4 digits of CC # over the phone. Never had this problem with any other retailer, big or smaill. They would not complete my order unless I did this! I felt uncomfortable so I cancelled my order.

Never order from this company! — they do not care about customers at all. I ordered an item from them (which was shown as «in stock» on the website) as a part of a larger order with free shipping option (over $ 49). 2 items from the larger order had arrived on time, and the third item of the initial order was shown as «back ordered» 2 days after I placed the order. I called sales with the request to replace the back ordered item with the same item but with different color (my daughter needed the item urgently because she was leaving on a trip). The sales person told me that she would need to cancel my back ordered item and create a new order for the new item, and that I would need to pay shipping charges. She also told me that she does not see that the item was part of a bigger order (as if I was making it up), almost blamed me for my right to request free shipping on a new item. We had long unpleasant conversation, still feel bad about it. She would not give up asking me to pay shipping charges– terrible, absolutely terrible, no respect for the customers! Now I am trying to reach the supervisor, the case is still not resolved.

Shipping policies are VERY unclear. 3 day expedited shipping really means 5 days. Do NOT order from State Line Tack if you need items in a timely fashion. Customer service gives conflicting information. Items are generally as described but arrive well past the ship date. Unacceptable in today’s marketplace – if I pay extra for 3 day shipping it should not arrive 5 days later.
