History

Established in 2006.

After gaining her degree in Interior Design from Iowa State University, Stephanie «Johnson» McFarland worked in the interior design field for a few years with Kitchen and Bath design firms and art galleries.

Armed with this knowledge she and her husband Chad McFarland found themselves on the beautiful Mississippi River in Clarksville MO. Stephanie began work with John Stoeckley, a renowned Missouri artist and was his framer for several years when the opportunity to start her own custom framing shop in Saint Louis’s historic Central West End proved to be to big of a chance to pass up.

With the help of her husband Chad, she opened at 4732 McPherson and had a wonderful two years before the tragic passing of long time friend and building owner Mary Ann Allison, at which point they found themselves at their new home on the other side of the street at 4739 McPherson with Arlene Lilie Interior Design.
