Whispering Hills Apts & Rec Center

I have been living here for about two years with my family. We went from a 3bedroom apartment here to a 2bedroom townhouse down the road.
Rec center is the best with three pools and the small gym. In our townhouse, the floors are so squeaky! You can’t even walk or sit on the bed without hearing squeaks. Also our big burner on the stove hasn’t worked since day 1– even though we’ve asked them to fix it. A little to pricy for me– for we just bought a 3bedroom house for 800/​month while we’re paying over a thousand dollars for this two bedroom. I know when the lease is up my family is moving somewhere else as well.

I can’t speak to any other feature of Whispering Hills aside from the rec center but that spot was very nice! Indoor pool with roll up doors for summertime and a pretty elaborate work out center.
Locker rooms could be better set up (throw me a bench to sit down on?) but i am assumign most residents drop in for a work out and change in apratments

We were only here short-​term but we enjoyed this community. It’s centrally located with easy access to grocery stores, movie theater, and the interstate.
The apartment is on the older side with various layout options. Many of the units have been renovated. We lived in the 3 level town-​home layout and it was spacious and quiet. The community has a club house, an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym, an outdoor tennis court and a small dog park. They also have valet trash pick-​up service, and as long as you put your garbage out before 8 am on the designated days in front of your door, they’ll take care of the rest. If there are any issues with the apartment, the maintenance staff are prompt and takes care of problems within 24 hours.
All the staff that we have encountered are friendly, flexible, and have great customer service. They also have small events throughout the year for families to enjoy — the one we participated in was the community garage sale.
We didn’t mind this at all, but, depending on the season, you may get ladybugs and all sorts of little creatures crawling around in your apartment — we never used their extermination services but, they do have that option to residents.

Touring apartments and this one seemed like a very peaceful neighborhood. The trees seemed to really whisper as it was a windy day and the many trees were rustling about. Very peaceful.
This is a higher end apartment company.
Their apartments seem older but well taken care of.
Looking at the «Woodlark,» 1 bedroom model, (
) it was 1,080 sq ft and a good floor plan. I loved the space and the open floor plan.
These apartments run about a $ 1,000ish for a one bedroom of this size and a little lower for 1 bedroom.
The indoor pool looked well cared for and the grounds look clean and well taken care of.
The only odd thing was, going up the stairs to go see the model the other apartments had several stone figures, strange looking garden statues, outside their doors. One apartment looked like it was in the midst of moving and had junk all out in the hallway.
They have a nice size dog park.
Saving for a house, it doesn’t make sense to spend so much for us.
TLDR: Expensive, Genuine Nice staff, Peaceful, Beautiful Trees, Older apartment but well cared for like an old comfy chair. Worth checking out.
