Specialties
It’s been said many times, the Wild Flower is the Midwest’s answer to a Greenwich Village hot spot; a charming atmosphere combined with a creative and delectable menu. As Spring and Summer arrive, be sure not to miss another «off the menu feature» of this metropolitan eatery — people watching on the CWE’s largest street side patio. So whether it’s a pint from our craft beer selection, a bottle of red from our extensive wine list, a small plate to our dinner selections the Wild Flower truly has something for everyone.
Don’t forget that we caterer parties in our fabulous Loft above the restaurant. With package deals we can accommodate a small business function to a wedding/reception for up to 140 guest. Voted «Best Caterer» in St. Louis multiple years running.
Thank you & Enjoy
History
Established in 1995.
The Wild Flower was created in 1995 by owner, Tracy Czarnec. Her vision was to bring together American gourmet dining with a casual atmosphere. The decision to open in the Central West End seemed natural. A trendy area with a cosmopolitan feel, the West End turned out to be the perfect place for the Wild Flower and diners looking for more than just another restaurant.

Business Owner
Mizzou journalism grad trades in her typewriter for a cute little shop (restaurant) on the corner.
After graduating college, I worked as a server as a second job out of necessity. I quickly learned that I had a strong passion for tasty food, all kinds of people, and the «art of the party» before anyone even knew what the art of the party meant.
I was a suburban girl that always loved the urban energy of the city so the CWE seemed the perfect fit. My commitment was to start with quality ingredients, prepare and serve food that is appealing to everyone, and in the process broaden the publics’ palette a bit. So… I put on my «sassy britches», rolled up my sleeves, and refused to listen to the nay sayers in my pursuit of opening my own place. This hectic but incredibly fulfilling life of a restaurateur took hold of me all those years ago and I have never looked back. ~ Do what you love and love what you do!
