I believe I saw Dr. Rick Wright for the last time Monday. It’s been two months since my knee surgery, and things are lookin’ quite good. I’ve never had orthopedic surgery before, so I was expecting a more rapid recovery than what occurred. Contributing to the slower-than-normal recovery were the surprises found around my knee and under my kneecap at the onset of surgery. Add a couple other«unordinary» recovery setbacks, and I was a rather disappointed patient for a while. Dr. Wright is a personable and easily approachable surgeon(many are not), so it was heartening to have a solid conversation with him about my knee and its complications — and what’s likely to occur in the future. He did a great job with the surgery, and explained that his approach was for the long-term. It’s good to have a knee specialist for the knees.
