I will never again go to the one in Town Square– Down town St. Paul. I thought I’d give it a try because they were formerly D’Brian’s and the signs says«its still us» but it is NOT D’Biran’s quality. Do not eat there! I wish I didn’t! Its very different from the D’Brian’s in downtown St. Paul. I placed the order very nicely and then he said — I will do it over there– showing me the sandwich station– then he paused to complain about someone to his co-worker. Meanwhile his phone rang and he pulled out his cell phone, looked at who it was and to my luck he didn’t take the call! whuhu! My wrap was suppose to be a Chipotle wrap– He didn’t bother to spread the sauce all over the wrap– it was nice quick plop in the middle and quick brush. He then threw in a bunch of tomatoes and cilantro mix(I am sure this part is correct and as it was suppose to be but I am disappointed that he did not ask me anything) except for«tomato or plain wrap» The real D’Brian’s actually ask you what you want or don’t want besides the stuff that goes into the Chipotle wrap. They make the wrap right. So this place is lacking customer service-. I am not trying to nit pick BUT it is an $ 8.00 wrap. Do not eat there!

Formerly D’Brians but the food is the same, only the name changed. Great deli hidden in the building. I visit the salad line weekly and the service is hit or miss. Some days they don’t have enough staff or are working on a large catering order and that really slows down the salad and sandwich lines. I wish it were more consistent. The grill special always sounds amazing, but I only go there to build my own salad and the ingredients are always very fresh and delicious. The breadsticks are always hot and fresh as well and you can take as many as you like. The rice krispies are amazing! Food quality trumps the inconsistencies in service.

I love D. Brian’s.Their Grilled Cheese is wonderful — get it with their excellent Tomato Soup and you’ve got an outstanding hot lunch for a decent price. The only caveat is that sometimes it does take too long to get your sandwich from the grill because they get very busy during the lunch rush. If you’re in a hurry opt for a bowl of soup and unlimited breadsticks.

Ordered a suasage Breakfast Scrambler. No sausage was used. No meat at all. Dude even stopped me to check on if he put the sausage in or not, and after looking at it said he did. I’m eating it, and there isn’t any sausage or other meat in here. Try again.

If you want to attract a lunch crowd, it might be best if you could figure out how to make a plain grilled cheese in less than 10 minutes(with essentially nobody else waiting for their food at the time the order was placed). Or, if you do need that much time, try to make it the best damned grilled cheese in the history of grilling cheeses. No such luck at this lunch emporium. The GC was dry and the cheese wasn’t the sharp stuff promised on the board but tasted pretty much like Kraft plastic-wrapped stuff. I’d also like to put in a request to all those who want my downtown lunch business. Don’t make your ‘system’ so obscure that I can’t figure it out. This one has you taking a ticket(pushed towards you without any explanation), you go pay, and then return(swimming against all the traffic) to wait for your sandwich. And wait some more. If you want to get business, make it easy and fast to do business with you instead of an inside joke only the regulars understand.

One of my favorite places to eat in the skyway. The staff is always friendly and helpful with the layout to make sure that you are ordering in the proper line. The owners are really nice as well and you can see them working with the rest of their staff often. The only down side is the layout to pay. It can get busy, backed up and mildly confusing. Other than that its a good place to eat and worth the price.
