College of St. Catherine, Our Lady of Victory Chapel

I know too many people that had to drop this school because it was too expensive. However, that is not the problem. The problem is their demeanor when dealing with poor students who cannot afford their elitist school. Everything from sending transcripts to wrong addresses, to messing up records and just plain incompetence. Oh, and if you call to tell them they screwed up, they will verbally harass you, then transfer you to a disconnected number. Go to hell, St. Kate’s.

Beautiful chapel! I love photographing weddings here because the building (inside and outside) are breathtaking! I enjoy when couples choose this chapel for their wedding ceremonies! Highly recommend to couples looking for a beautiful chapel to say «I Do!»

This chapel is famous for Ernest Bachelder largest tile commission. The walls, floor, columns, and ceiling are all made of tile. The outside has some cool carved tile details. It is amazing. Who is Batchelder? Ernest Allan Batchelder was a leading designer of the American arts and crafts movement, already well known when he founded his own tile company in Pasadena in 1909. After studying at the School of Arts and Crafts in Birmingham, England, he taught at the Harvard Summer School of Design, organized the Handicraft Guild in Minneapolis, (where Hell’s Kitchen is) where he taught summer courses, and directed the department of arts and crafts at Throop Poly– technic Institute in Pasadena.
