Best reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. Corned beef was juicy and tender and they give you more than enough. Cost $ 9.25 but worth it.

Located on the East side of the RiverCentre and Xcel Energy and across Kellogg Blvd from the Science Museum sits this, hate to say it, banal Café. I have been here couple of times during early morning conferences at the RiverCentre and the foot traffic in here was fairly decent. They only offer 12&16 oz If I remember correctly. No overtly over complicated coffee names and unfortunately the coffee is not even worth writing a review for. Nothing I couldn’t make with my Coffee Press, If I knew away of getting Juan Valdez and his donkey to show up on Eat Street. The Headwaters Breakfast I had(scrambled eggs with bacon and toast) was alright. I saw on their menu that they have smoothies 16 oz for $ 5 and domestic beer for $ 6 — I am going down that route next time, nothing gets you through a 6 hour conference like a Summit EPA anyways.

Meh. The food is pricey and average-tasting. The staff is hit or miss. I work nearby and have visited this place about four times and it is not that great. My biggest complaint is the price. Yesterday I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and a bottle of water — total just under $ 10. But you don’t get chips, a pickle or anything with it. They could throw on some fruit salad or cole slaw or something for that price. And, after being made my food sat behind the counter waiting for someone to physically lift it from the counter to the counter top so I could reach it. I finally had to ask for it. I think yesterday was my last visit. I gave them a try, it didn’t work out between us. I’m moving on.

Headwaters café is the place to go for lunch in Downtown Saint Paul. This bistro is accessible by the sky way System which is a must for Minnesota. The Menu is extensive and their Daily specials are something to look forward to. You can get on their email list for a menu updater each morning. They are open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays and may stay open longer if there is an event in the RiverCentre. There is a decent amount of seating and an Internet hot spot. You can also sit outside on nice days with a view of Kellogg Blvd, The Science Museum and the River.
