Solid place for phở, reasonably prices and always fast service. Their menu items are also delicious but I tend to stick to the phở. Recommend the p1

Ok, the phở is great, the the French press coffee rocks, and the service was fast and friendly. Eat here.

I will probably just stick to the phở here next time. I tried getting the wonton egg noodle soup last time, which consists of egg noodles, red roast pork, and pork wontons — very underwhelming especially when the wontons were not even wontons! They were dumplings –_– Soup and noodles both mediocre. It’s probably better to take a dish off the menu if it’s not being done correctly? Phở is okay here — it comes out fast and a decent portion although I would prefer Phở Hoa/Phở 79. All in all, it’s easy and cheap! Good for quick lunch break.

One of my favorite places in the cities. LIGHTENING fast service, few things on the menu are over $ 10. Phở portions are big — their jumbo portion is served in one of the biggest bowls I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Good selection of banh mi sandwiches, generally around three dollars apiece. Good french drip coffee, would highly recommend if rich, flavorful coffee is your thing, excellent with their sweet cream.

This is my favorite restaurant regardless of cuisine, price, or anything else. Fast, inexpensive, and excellent quality. Great for eating in or takeout. I have probably eaten here 80 – 100 times and never been disappointed.

The phở broth is amazing. Not too sweet. Huge portions. Quick and friendly service. Great prices. Banh Mi sandwiches are above par, second only to a nearby neighbor that only takes cash. Parking is a difficulty when they are busy which is ALL the time.

Squeeeeeeee! The family and I love this place! Fast, friendly, hands down best phở broth in the metro area. Staff get to know the client base and rarely turn over which indicates a good management team as well. Egg rolls are yum, and they let me customize my Bûn order. And the sandwiches rock –I get extra pâté because I’m addicted.

One of the best phở places in Saint Paul hands down!!! GOTOTHISPLACE: if you love good phở, vermicelli noodles, spring rolls, anything Vietnamese! So so good. If you love fast, great service that is always in a great mood willing to help you out with any questions about your order. Love the atmosphere. Lightly decorated but so lovely the décor doesn’t even matter. Such good service, excellent food, and even experienced a man do a «phở eating contest» to time how long he ate an XXL bowl and then he wins something. THISPLACEISAWESOME!

I love that they offer different sized phở here. Usually it is too much for me at other restaurants but the different sizes here are super nice. The tofu spring rolls were so yummy and the phở is delicious. I do wish there was a little more flavoring in the broth and more veggies in the phở(it’s an extra $ 2 for veggies). Other than that there is great service.

Ipho by Saigon is the most efficient Vietnamese Phở place I’ve come across! It literally was within minutes after ordering that we had our bowls of Phở in front of us. It was so fast that I recommend you stir in your spices and let your ingredients soak in a bit, especially to let the noodles loosen up. The serving sizes are humongous! For example, a iPho regular would most likely be a large at other places. The place is clean, servers are genuine, and the environment is pretty modern for a Vietnamese place on University Ave. Note: Parking could be better. The lot is on the left side of the building and provides a limited amount of spots(maybe 8.?) Bahn Mi is only $ 3-$ 5, depending on what you want for ingredient and if you order to-go you get one free with a purchase of three.

My favorite phở spot in the twin cites! Service is always friendly, food comes out super fast. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, but it is well worth it. Highly recommend the phở — broth is near perfect every time. The rice platter dishes are also delicious — my particular favorite is the grilled pork. Can’t go wrong with egg rolls, spring rolls, bahn mi, or Vietnamese iced coffee. Yum.

iPho ended a weekend of unquenchable phở cravings. After hitting up Quang the day before, I needed another bowl, but was not in the neighborhood. iPho was down the street, and I’m pretty glad it was. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but not even two minutes later we were seated. The service was very fast during our whole stay. Nice! The portions here are GIGANTIC! I got a Regular, which was more than enough, and the man got an X-Large. It was very, very large. Thankfully, phở is mostly water and has lot of other nutrients, so WIN if you’re super hungry! I got the pork and seafood phở with rice and egg noodles, plus extra veggies. It was good – not great. The broth didn’t have as much flavor as I expected, and the veggies were just thrown into the soup last-minute, not cooked in it. Luckily, there are condiments on the table you can use to customize your dish more. It would have been nice to get more powerful phở flavor. The rice platters looked like a good bet. Next time I get around the iPho, I would try those. Overall, a good bet, but I’ll probably hit up other phở restaurants in the area before returning.

iPho serves the fastest phở on University Ave. A steeping bowl of Phở was sitting in front of us within seconds of placing our order, despite to long walk our server took from the back of the restaurant where we sat to the kitchen. The phở is good and includes all of the garnishes and table-side sauces needed to craft the unique phở flavor you are looking for. We were less impressed with the fried noodle dish our server recommended. It was served bland and remained forgettable despite our attempt to bring it back to life with various sauces and spices. The standout feature of iPho is the restaurant’s clean, contemporary design and consistent service. These are two things that are less common than you’d think in many restaurants along the University Ave coridor.

Why doesn’t everyone just go to iPho I mean its hip modern and most important delicious! Yesterday after going to Como Zoo my monkey man was craving Asian but we didn’t want to drive all the way down to Minneapolis to our Asian stop, so we Unilocaled it! and I found this spot. I glad I did its on University ave busy spot the parking can be wayyy bigger its like a 6 spot parking lot but going in we got greeted right away and sat down I ordered Jalapeño wontons(yes) Mango smoothie bubble tea Spring rolls and main course fried noodle stir fry combo my boyfriend order vermaicelli noodles and the same mango smoothie bubble tea all for $ 39 The price are cheap and they serve you big ass portions! I had no complaints I just was in a awwwww the whole damn time! I swear this is the best Asian food stop in the twin cities! I also love the servers being young and hip I will drive from Minnetonka all the way to St Paul just to eat here I cant believe I never knew about this spot!

I went here twice last week. First, I met a friend for lunch here around 12:30ish and it was super packed. However, after about 5 minutes we got a table and our food came out super fast! Two days later, I went back and it wasn’t packed at all during the same time. I’d never had phở before so the first time we asked our server for recommendations. I ordered the steak and meatballs on his recommendation and the chicken spring rolls. When the food came, I got a bonus chicken sandwich. I think it was the banh mi ga nuong, but I can’t say for certain. I ended up getting the child size phở, which was the perfect size with the spring rolls and bonus sandwich. The second time I went I got the regular size phở chinh nam(brisket and flank). Had that been my first experience, I’d never go back. Something was extremely fatty. Like, instead of chopping up meat, they chopped up pieces of fat and tossed it in. However, I still enjoyed it and just picked out the gross bits. This is the only place I’ve been for phở so far and I totally loved it! Highly recommend it and the banh mi sandwiches.

My first phở experience! I went here for lunch with a friend. We got here at about 12:30 and the place was packed and there were a lineup of people coming in behind us also. However, we were seated in less than 5 minutes. We told the server that we had never had phở so he very thoroughly went through the menu with us and made recommendations. They have a lunch special which includes a child’s portion of phở with a bahn mi, so I got that because I am indecisive. I got the flank, brisket, and meatball phở, and the pork bahn mi. Delicious. My friend got phở and also chicken spring rolls, which I had one of and it was awesome. The sauce was amazing! They also brought her out a chicken bahn mi by mistake, and it also looked good. My entire meal was only $ 7 and it was so much food I couldn’t even finish it! So delicious! And the service was fantastic and the food came out so fast. I can see this becoming a great lunch spot.

I gotta admit, I went into this begrudgingly. Pho79 which is my go to is closed Sunday and I needed phở. Pulled up right in front and found parking, it’s Sunday and I can imagine it isn’t this easy on a week day. We noticed a steady stream of people coming in and out, we were surprised as it was 2PM on a Sunday. We made it in and the place was really busy for the time and day! You know that the food is good, when all the locals are eating there and that is what it looked like. We were greeted immediately and seated with menus. I read other reviews about horrible service here, not what we experienced at all! They were super attentive and hustling from table to table. We have tried our fair share of Phở places on and around University and our biggest complaint is that their menus are usually very limited. We were really impressed with the menu and options here. Can not wait to come back and try some other dishes. Everything that came past our table looked amazing(I am pregnant and wanted to walk around and eat off other people’s plates.) We settled on the fresh pork and shrimp spring-rolls for an app and for entrees the pork and wonton phở as well as then brisket, tendon and beef ball phở. The phở comes in 3 sizes! Regular, x-large and jumbo. They mean business here! At our regular phở place I have noticed that I can order the same thing as someone at another table and bowl size will vary… this always confuses me. I actually asked someone one time and he was as confused as I was. App came out right away, super tasty but wish it would have been a little colder. Phở came out right in time, so visually appealing! They totally let your eyes feast first. Came with all the standard phở toppings, jalapeño, bean sprouts, lime and my fav, thai basil. yum! It was AWESOME! I absolutely loved mine. I loved having different options other than beef, beef or beef. Husband ordered the #11 which was beef, beef and beef, he loved it as well. He said visually mine looked better but he really liked his. I tried both and liked both. We will totally go back and try some other dishes. Excited for a new place!

This is going to be only about the bahn mi, and specifically, the grilled pork bahn mi. Bahn mi, if you’re in the know, is probably one of the best sandwiches you can get for the price. Because of this place, and the quality of these sandwiches, I feel like I’m getting ripped off when I go to one of those national chains. In addition, when you do take out, if you buy 3, you get the 4th one free. That’s right. Free. So when your sandwiches are priced at under $ 3.50 a pop($ 2 for the vegetarian), you literally can walk out with lunch for 4 for under $ 15 which is amazing. But back to the sandwich. You get a fresh baked French roll that is about 8−10″ long, a swipe of mayo, grilled pork, pickled veggies, cilantro, sliced jalapeño(and for me, a squirt of siracha) and off you go. The pork is sweet with a nice bit of tang. The sour from the pickled veggies is perfect and then it’s all topped off with a little heat. The perfect blend. Wash it down with some bubble tea and you’re set. They also offer sit down seating and a full menu. The place gets busy but never enough where you gotta wait. Parking is ok but I gotta say the green line has messed that up and I’m preaching to the choir at this place as they fought tooth and nail to keep their street parking. Never-the-less, word up to the mighty bahn mi @ iPho.
