I placed my order and was aware I will have to wait for my fries as the menu was switching to lunch. That was fine. Right after I placed my order I realized I forgot to give my electronic coupon for a punch for mccafe drinks. This was the last punch I need to get my free coffee and I was real stoked to go today and get my last punch and looking forward to a free coffee for my start of the work week Monday morning. Once I realized I grabbed someone and they grabbed the manager and she said she can’t do anything about it. I was real upset because if you still had the paper copies it wouldn’t be an issue to get my card punch for the coffee I just purchase. The manager proceeded to tell me I have you a free coffee already like almost two weeks ago and that was her decision and not my issue. She gave me a free coffee in the past because the coupon scanner wasn’t working. The crew member tried and then the manager tried and they called a third person 2nd manager to try and get the coupon to work by scanning and entering the numbers and their system wasn’t working. Then I had to ask them if somebody could atleast make my coffee and they asked if it was the large Carmel frappé and I said no It was the order in front of me which was my nephew. They still proceeded to make it and hand it to me and I said I ordered a medium mocha and so then she started to make that! The crew member handed me frappé but I asked manager if I could have it and she said no. So then I go sit down with my nephew and sister and I see its 11:04am and I still don’t have my large fry. I got back up to see if my receipt was still on counter to know if they were working on my fry and I already knew they first fries for they say we’re made. They were filling orders of fries that were made after mine and I had to mention I was still waiting on my large fry. I told the manager I live right behind the McDonald’s and I come often, but I told her now I will no longer be coming back. They didn’t want to make anything right. The manager did not even have a name tag on because I wanted to catch her name. The lady that placed my order was GREAT! Every other interaction I have had with the manager has be very pleasant! She is very chipper in the morning! At the same time this was happening another guy came walking in and his order was wrong. He over heard me and my sister talking about my issue and I asked if he is pretty upset too and he said yes and he mentioned he lives just behind the McDonald’s too. I WILLNOT be going back! Burger King is just as close and they have never messed up and even get to know me by a name basis! They have tons of coupons always! Also with my experience the only thing that would be greatly appreciated if you get anything out of this miserable trip of mine if you could incorporate your employees to ask the customers,“Do you have any coupons today?” I went to caribou coffee the other day and forgot to check in with my phone to earn coupons and they had no issue checking me in once I remembered!

Dont go after dark. The crew spends this time sleeping. There was a line at 11pm at night. I along with four other cars were waiting in the two drive through lanes. No response and the lights were on! They were suppose to be open. It was a Saturday night. I emailed the management team. Still no response. Ummm is this location closed?

This is my fave McDonalds because I love my morning drive through peeps! I recently lost one of them though and I am wondering where she went! They are friendly, even when I am half asleep, take my coupons without question, and have my bag of goodies and hot coffee ready for me by the time I make it to the pick up window… Thanks for helping me start my day McDonalds on Rice Street!
