Want to look suave on your brand-​spankin-​new LinkedIn profile? yep — she does that.
Want to look like a wholesome, happy, real-​life-​family? She on it.
Pictures of your newborn, when they don’t yet respond to verbal-​commands? Done deal.
Photobiographies by Emily Oxton will not photoshop you into looking like a ripped Jesus Christ, or Tyra Banks’ next top whatever — and that is a good thing.
I didn’t ask — but she’ll likely not use instragram hipster filters to make you look «edgy» or «post-​faux-​blah».
Instead, she takes honest pictures of who you are, and has a knack for bringing out the best side (s) of you and your loved ones.
Portraits and people look best when they are genuinely happy and relaxed.
Emily is extremely affable and has the magical combination of personality and skill to make those moments happen and capture them beautifully.
She even lets you choose the shots you want, instead of getting all «art-​director-​y» trying to dictate a «style» to the shot. Honest!

Emily did a fantastic job taking professional headshots for me. I usually hate having my photo taken, but the grainy selfie shot was not working anymore for my Linkedin profile, so I knew it was time for professional help! Emily made me feel comfortable and confident. The process was entirely painless since she gave me helpful pointers while she snapped away. Her warmth and professionalism were wonderful. She promptly gave me a CD with many options for me to choose from. I’ll be returning to her for some family holiday photos soon!

Emily is such a talented and versatile photographer! She did an amazing job with our family photos. She had so much patience with our four children, who each demanded several different individual poses — «oh, and then one more with the dog! And get me in this tree when I climb it!»
We had tons of great photos to choose from, some with gorgeous vibrant color, and some in beautiful black and white. Emily did a lovely job, far exceeding my expectations!
