Pilot Knob Animal Hospital

We have taken all our pets (dogs & cats) to Pilot Knob Animal Hospital since 1995. Their veterinarians are excellent, as are their vet techs and office staff. In addition to being great at their jobs, they are also very experienced in dealing with pets who might be scared or nervous about being there. They are very good at helping such pets relax for their exams, shots, etc. Whenever we have called with concerns about a pet, they always answer our questions over the phone or schedule an appointment for us to come in. When we bring a pet in for a visit, all instructions given are very clear and our questions are always completely answered. We have had several elderly pets who were fragile and have always gotten excellent guidance on how to best care for them. Over the years we’ve had a few sad situations with pets whose health was failing and there was no hope for recovery. Those days are difficult for all of us and everyone at PKAH is very understanding and compassionate when we bring in a 4-​legged family member who is going to the Rainbow Bridge. I would be happy to serve as a reference for PKAH!

I started taking my dog here as a puppy 6 years ago and we would never go anywhere else. The staff is great and very caring. They spend a lot of time with you and your pet to make sure that they have answered all of your questions about your pet’s health. They also send reminder emails and texts to schedule follow-​up appointments, renew your pet’s boosters, get bloodwork done, etc. They are just all-​around awesome. Highly recommend.

Its a great place to bring your pet. They care for all animals brought in. I brought my cat in and they gave me the antibodies that he needed. I would recommend taking your pets here because everyone there is very nice with pets and people. Thank you!

I love this clinic. The staff is amazing, and I love Dr. Yip. If she moved, I would probably move with her if I could. They are so compassionate and caring, and they understand that pets are family. They take wonderful care of our babies.

I moved to Eagan from South Dakota and brought my 13 year old cat with me. I was hesitant about finding a good vet, but the folks at Pilot Knob Animal Hospital have been absolutely fantastic! Three or four times now I have had to either call or bring my cat in for something, and each time they have taken the most gentle, loving, as well as knowledgable care with my cat. They also have been very cost conscious and have not run up costs unnecessarily.
I simply cannot say enough good things about the Pilot Knob facility. If you need to take your pet somewhere that you can feel confident and secure that it will be taken well care of – take your pet here.
