I love the PB products but have a hard time patronizing the retailer that blasts AC while keeping the doors wide, wide open on the hottest days of summer. I’d love to see PB become more environmentally conscious and take an active role in conserving our natural resources. There’s no need to keep the doors open. If we want to shop there, we have no problem opening the doors to enter the store. Please, close your doors!

I had an online experience with PB that was a huge disappointment. I went to our local store on Grand Avenue in St Paul, and happened upon the most wonderful sales person, Jennifer. She solved my problem and made my day. This lady is amazing! PB, you should put her in charge of your crap online business.

Feel kind of silly reviewing Pottery Barn but I do enjoy this store for decorating ideas and love the location.

The staff are really helpful when you’re indecisive about things. In my case it was choosing the right dining room table and six chairs to go along with it. They helped choose the right table for the size of our dining room, the wood in our house, and even the number of people we’d have sitting at the table when entertaining. The only negative is due to the small location, a lot of what we purchased had to be ordered and it took longer than what was quoted. They told us 6 – 7 weeks, but in reality it took 9 – 10 and we had to call them to check in. Considering the amount of dough we dropped, you’d think they’d at least update us!

I called around noon to find out if they had a particular sofa in the store so that I could look at in person. I was told that yes, they did. So I went to check it out only to be told that they didn’t have it in the store… that they had sold it several days ago. No apologies for the wrong information that caused me to make an unnecessary special trip. I doubt I’ll be back.

Pottery Barn has a top-notch employee in Christian. Christian empathizes well with customers and is friendly and helpful to everyone who walks in the store. While assisting me with a return, he had an ability to be in one place and yet everywhere; he gave me his full attention while connecting with customers and other employees, making sure that the store was running smoothly. Well done!

I was pretty intimidated by the stores on this end of Grand Ave. The minute I walked in, I thought I was walking into an upscale Pier 1(with prices to match). I was wonderfully surprised that everything was reasonably priced within my budget for gifts for people in my extended family. Not only that, the cashier came up to us right of way and greeted us warmly. Many times, you have to find the sales yourself, but he went into great detail about where the best sales in the store were. Crazy awesome!

I have recently moved into a new apartment and needed EVERYTHING. I went to this pottery barn bc it is close to my new place. I went in several times trying to decide what to get. The staff there is AMAZING! Very patient, friendly, professional, and helpful. Specifically, Julie and Diana. So if you have anything you need to buy or just need decorating tips DONTHESITATE and go to this location. Even AFTER i made my purchases i went back to the store and they gave me the sale price on items i had already bought and provided me with some store credit. Excellent customer service and i wasnt even expecting a thing. In my opinion, Pottery Barn would be very smart to run ALL their stores like this one does.

Pottery Barn puts on great decorating classes every few weeks. They teach you how to use your current items with a few new items to save you money! The staff is very knowledgeable and provides assistance above and beyond the expected! When you go to the classes, they even give you a coupon for 10% of any purchase that day. Use their resources to the fullest, you won’t be disappointed!

I really like Pottery Barn. And even though I can’t afford most of the items in the store, I still love drooling over their catalog and getting ideas for how I can turn my own house into a Pottery Barn house. What I like so much about this Pottery Barn is the monthly decorating classes they offer for FREE! The classes are on Sunday mornings from 10 – 11 am. The informal sessions feature two Pottery Barn employees who are decorating specialists that go over different decorating ideas. The classes around Christmas are always fun because they give tips for holiday decorating. Another perk of going to the classes is that you get a 10% off coupon that is good for anything in the store!
