The course looks small and simple but looks are deceiving. The course is laid out efficiently for the space. There are not a lot of frills with extraneous décor but the holes are challenging in their simplicity. The«greens» are gripping so the ball does not roll too fast, but the holes are not forgiving(if you hit too hard they will pop back out). I also enjoyed the clipboards that are handed out for keeping score. A good time and more than worth the price of admission.

I went here because I’m new to the area and I was looking for a mini golf course for a first date. This course had a solid 4 star rating and the pictures looked nice enough, and overall, it was ok. But just ok. For starters, the greens have a bunch of spots where the greens have folded up and caused bumps. And none of the holes are truly remarkable. But it’s just an average little course. Also, you’d better bring cash because they don’t take credit cards. That being said, it’s only $ 5 a person, so you really can’t go wrong! I can see where people voted this 4 stars because of the price and it’s in a pretty area, but really, it’s more of a 3 star course.

I was on the golf team in high school, but after years of realizing how frustrating and expensive it was as a hobby(I wasnt any good at it anyway), I finally resorted to mini-golf. When spring/summer roll around here in Minnesota, it’s exciting to check out all my favorite mini-golf spots, and this is definitely one of them. One of the drawbacks to mini-golf these days is that it can be pricey – particularly if you are using it as a date activity or treating a small group to a round. At $ 5 for a full round of 18-holes, this is an excellent value. Compare that to the over-priced Moose Mountain at Mall of America or the artsy mini-golf at the Walker and you have yourself quite a deal. The quality of the course is excellent compared to most of the outdoor courses in the Twin Cities area(with the exception of Richfield Adventure Golf). The greens are in good shape, there are areas of sun/shade, and there is a decent variety of obstacles. The iconic centerpiece of the course is the trolley – you can pay here as well as pick up your scorecard and clubs. The location of the course is extremely convenient, as well. It is located Como Park which makes it a perfect activity to combine with Como Town, Como Zoo, the McNeely Conservatory, or even a walk around the lake. The only major drawback is that this area can get extremely busy on weekends and during the summer. Finding parking can be very problematic even though they have a large lot just feet from the course. It’s quite possible that during busy times you will have to walk a bit to reach the course. It also means that the course itself can often be littered with little kids. My recommendation would be to go during the week, if possible. This is easily one of my top choice for mini-golf in the Twin Cities for a number of reasons… From price to location, it’s a great activity. There are other good courses in Richfield and Coon Rapids, but they are a little more out-of-the-way and they certainly can’t beat the value of Putt’er There. Pros: Price($ 5 – can’t beat that), location in Como Park, course condition, ample shade, parking lot nearby Cons: Gets very crowded during peak hours, parking can be a huge problem at times

I can’t believe no one has written a review yet. This is a fun, pretty course in Como park complete with flower gardens and rocks from all over Minnesota! For $ 5 you can play 18 holes. This is just a great little course!
