What a random hidden gem. Their flautas were delicious as well as their rice and refried beans. It seems sketchy when you first walk in but trust me, it’s worth it.

Worst food and service ever, place is dirty and smelly plus buffet is super expensive at 12.99 even for kids, the lady on charge made us wait for a clean plate for like 10 – 15 minutes! dont waste time or money I will never return to this place or recomend to anyone.

Seriously by far the best place to get mangonadas! I like mines spicy so I added more spice to it. Then I came the next day to try their tacos. I ordered the octopus, shrimp, and mahi mahi taco which totaled up to be $ 11.50. To be completely honest, though the octopus taco wasn’t good you’ve got to try the shrimp tacos! This place is pretty low key, not super empty either and right across from Tongue in Cheek. Enjoy!

In the bright yellow building at 990 Payne sits an indoor plaza. There’s coffee, pupusas and Señor Sol. They have a regular menu as well as $ 8 lunch buffet that includes make your own tacos or taco salads. The meats ranged from crispy fried chicken and fish, barbacoa, carnitas, al pastor and chorizo with potatoes. There are warm corn or flour tortillas and also homemade fried shells. Also rice and beans and assorted toppings, including salsa rojo and verde, plus pico.
Everything I tried was homemade and delicious, particularly the carnitas, barbacoa, refried beans and the salsas. Cotija cheese would have been a nice touch, but they had shredded cheddar and jack instead.

Nice, clean place with really heavy, thick wooden tables. Lights above the buffet would be nice, along with names of each of the food offerings. It’s a little dim and identifying some items was tough.
Good food, friendly staff, I’ll most certainly be back.
