I regularly visit this Sbix and half of the time they get my order wrong. And since I’m going there on my way to work – I don’t have time to get a new one. They’re quite busy in the morning and probably could use another Starbucks in the area to offset it. #firstworldproblems

It was around 6PM last Monday. I ordered a light roast and it seemed to be taking a long time. I wandered over to the counter and it was discovered that my pour-over coffee had become cold while waiting to be served to me. The barista(a different person) was obviously chagrined, made it up to me with a gift card, and then served me a new coffee, but this new one was not hot. I have high expectations of Starbucks and they double-disappointed me.

Wonderful barista there named Sydney who is sweeter than pecan pie with a glass of bourbon on a cool fall evening and makes the best cup of hot water this side of the Mississippi.

8 minutes for a cup coffee? The speed of service here SUCKS. Always a line, baristas moving like molasses. Hit Dunn Bros next door. Much better.

Great upbeat staff always friendly and if you’re not satisfied with your drink they will replace it!

Just ran in to grab a breakfast wrap this morning. I usually go to Dunn Bros in the same building, but I always run into co-workers leaving Starbucks so I switched up the routine. Fast, friendly service and an almost-the-perfect temperature wrap. I wish there had been more selection, but hey, I still was able to find something vegetarian. I’m sure I will go back before too long!

This Starbucks is your typical inner city coffee house with no drive-thru and limited parking. If you are lucky enough to grab a street spot, then its easy but for the most part, its not worth the hassle. My daughter loves this Bux. She says the employees are super friendly, know her, and they make her drink, a Green Tea Soy Latte perfect… If Ci wants to run in and grab us drinks while I go around the block a few times, its Kool with me but If its just Teddi and I, we prefer heading to a drive-thru.

After years of working downtown St. Paul on and off. I’ve found that this Starbucks has stayed consistently fine. Not great, not good, just fine. After all, it’s Starbucks? It’s like the McDonald’s of coffee, you know what crap you’re ordering so why be picky about quality of espresso and what not. I’m just not gonna go there at all. Anyways, I was a bit miffed because they messed up my order. I had a free birthday drink and so I ordered one of their extremely sugared seasonal hot chocolates and asked for them to make it a mocha. Well, in the end I’m pretty sure they left out the shots. I’m saying ‘pretty sure’ because I didn’t taste any bitter dirt like espresso. The hot chocolate tasted sugary and good, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to have a headache later for not getting my caffeine in today! I will say this, they have some really nice baristas!

I like Starbucks — just as a frame of reference. This one gets only 2 stars because of no warm breakfast sandwiches and only a tiny display with yogurt parfaits and sandwiches etc. If you don’t get there before 7:30-ish, items you want may be out. I’m used to getting my breakfast and lunch items at Starbucks on an appallingly regular basis, so this, combined with the overall dearth of Starbucks in St. Paul, has thrown a real wrench into my ability keep myself fed. Yeah, I know I should get a life.

Starbucks is Starbucks — wherever you go. But, I’m happy to have this coffee chain so close to my office where the service is excellent! I will buy my coffee from anyone who compliments my outfit! :-)

This is a starbucks. It is over priced. The coffee is mediocre. Yet, it is convenient when you’re on Cedar street. Yup, that’s about all I’ve got.

4 stars, only because parking stinks. I usually walk here from my office, so parking isn’t an issue. I have never gotten an icky drink here. They get the ratios just perfect. They’re always willing to customize, which is nice for a picky person like me! They learned my favorite drink after just a few visits from me. Friendly and fast, they make the long lines go really quickly! Venti 3-Pump Light Ice Chai Latte. Mmmmm.
