History

Established in 2009.

Swift Music started out as The Swift School of Music born out of a passion for sharing musical knowledge and providing a warm and welcoming environment to learn and be inspired. In February 2013 The Swift School of Music changed into Swift music to better meet the needs of all musicians, now offering music gear, a recording studio and live performance venue.

Meet the Business Owner

David S.

Business Owner

Dave has been studying, teaching, and performing music for nearly 20 years. After graduating cum laude from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2003, he returned to his home state where found himself with more than 60 guitar students a week.

Seeking more opportunities for his students, Dave forged his own path and the Swift School of Music was started in January of 2009. In 2013, The Swift School of Music evolved into Swift Music to not only offer lessons but to provide a superior music equipment retail experience.

When he’s not teaching, Dave can be found hanging with his daughter and his dog Summit. You can also find him playing with local pop artist, Amy Avery.

Dave and Amy are expecting a son together this September!
