History
Established in 2013.
One might call it fate. We call it inevitable.
Jennifer and Alicia have been in the restaurant and culinary arts for many years and separately dreamed of one day having their very own place. Alicia attended Le Cordon Bleu’s Patisserie and Baking program and worked for many celebrated local companies, and even appeared on The Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. Jennifer worked on the floor and behind the scenes of many well-known Twin Cities restaurants and when Alicia decided it was time to open her own bakery a family member referred her to Jennifer. It was during that meeting they shared their vision of food and family and knew it would connect them forever. It was then The Buttered Tin was born.
