Terrible service. Avoid this place. Got the car back and noticed old oil had been spilled all over the floor on the drivers side. My wife pointed it out to them and they told her in a condescending manner/​sexist manner that it was just mud. I just spend 4 hours of my Friday night cleaning it… it was oil… lots of oil. Do not go here.

This location puts the «Instant» in «Instant Oil Change!» I really didn’t need to turn my engine off because they got me in right away. Manager Adam Hall runs a great store and needs to give Jaclyn praise and a raise for her knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy! Be honored Adam that you have such a great employee working alongside you!
Sure I can find an oil change for a little less, but for me, I’ll be bringing both my cars to Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Snelling.

Instant/​rapid oil change … Was told to come back in two and a half hours. I actually did, and then was told to come back in another two and a half hours. Yikes… What horrible service! Id think you’d at least take my appointment down — but unfortunately that wasn’t an option here. :-/

Bad gas & 2000 miles takes it’s toll. These guys got us in quick & got the full synthetic oil change & air filter replaced since I sucked in about 9000 bugs. Fast, easy & a good job. Now I just have to clean the outside!

Went for an oil change. They found six lights needed replacing and I had them replace them all. Within two weeks three of them were burned out. I replaced those myself and have not had a problem with them. Jiffy lube across the street is cheaper and has great service.

After having purchased numerous oil changes at other companies, I feel like I’ve struck a gold mine right here in the heart of St. Paul. The technicians at this Valvoline are honest, polite and thorough in their work. I don’t remember ever being shown my air filter and being told «It’s a bit dirty, but not too bad — I’ll recommend you change it in the next one or two visits.» Every other place I’ve gone I’ve been bombarded with up-​sells for new filters and flushes, and left feeling taken advantage of and angry. These guys are not out to gouge their customers and for that reason alone, they’ve secured many return visits from me!

The technicians were super helpful, knowledgable and kind. We arrived at 6:50 pm (closes at 7pm) and the staff welcomed us in. This was wonderful as 5 minutes earlier we were turned away from the Jiffy Lube across Snelling and asked to return the next day. Not convenient.
My Jiffy Lube coupon was honored and it was a really positive experience. I’m not likely to return to JL and Valvoline is now my go to spot.

Friendly, Professional, and Efficient. Easy access from three sides of business and in a highly visible area. They offered to change the wiper blades and a small bulb that needed fixing and took the time to call the cell phone as we dropped the vehicle off so we could spend our time getting coffee vs. sitting at an oil changing station. I am not sure how to get the 20.00 oil change — we never seem to get that as purchase the oil for the higher mileage car… but all-​in-​all i feel they are trustworthy and have utilized this location several times…

Solid place to stop for a quick oil change. I grew up around my grandfather’s service station, so I know a little bit about cars and can tell when someone is
me. This is not that type of place. The manager and team were professional. The manger gave me the results of the pre-​service inspection, but didn’t try to push anything on me. I was very satisfied with the quick service, professional team, and lack of the pushy upsell.
I’ll be back in 3000 miles.
