History

Established in 2009.

Krista has been playing for 27 years and teaching for 21. She’s studied and/​or worked with famous pedagogues such as Donald Weilerstein, Andrezej Grabiec Sally O’Reilly, Mary West, Aaron Janse, Leonard Posner, Jennifer Bourianoff and Beth Blackerby. Krista earned her degree in Violin Performance from the University of Houston at the Moores School of Music. She performs regularly with Sonorous Strings, a string quartet, trio and duo that play private events and concertize.

Krista has taught for twenty-​one years and has a thriving studio where she enjoys teaching varied age groups violin, viola and/​or chamber music. Krista is a former faculty member at St Joseph’s School of Music in St Paul, MN, Minnesota Valley Academy in Burnsville, MN, K and S Conservatory in Woodbury, MN, and Sagemont Centre for the Arts in Houston, TX.
